The faces of Simon and Amelia flashed in Janice’s mind. They were so despicable! Everything they did was just because they couldn’t stand to see her Eving well.
She had to find a man a hundred–no, a thousand times–better than Simon!
She wanted to make them furious!

A flicker of tension crossed Edward’s brow. Did she just call him by his first name?

Janice was pulled by him and led to the bathroom
Edward watched over her as she took a shower, then instructed her to change and rest in bed. “Sleep first, We’ll talk when you wake up.”
She didn’t refuse, she was indeed exhausted. She just turned over and fell asleep while holding onto Edward’s sleeve. Her face was beautiful even in her sleep. Her current expression might even cause men to develop a sense of protectiveness over her.
