Ines was quietly nestled in Ethan's arms. Ethan instinctively reached out to touch her belly, only to find it flat.
Ines chuckled, "Ethan, you must not be used to it either, neither am I. Only when I touch my belly do I realize that the twins have already been born. I've gotten used to the increasing weight every day, but now that it suddenly lightens, I feel a bit odd."
Ethan gently pinched her cheek, "You'll get used to it after a while. Habit takes time to build. Are you hungry? If you are, have some soup."
Ines nodded. After finishing her soup, she felt a bit sleepy. Ethan tucked her in, quietly gazed at her face for a while, then went to see the twins.
Thinking about the warm picture of the family of four, Ethan couldn't contain his joy, he gave each child a kiss on the face.
Phillip and Trenton were persuaded by Erica to go back home. Erica initially wanted to convince Camela to go rest as well, but she insisted on staying because she was worried about the two twins. Erica couldn't convince her, so she allowed Camela to stay.
There was another room in the ward. To avoid disturbing Ethan and Ines, Erica pushed the crib directly into the bedroom.
Ines slept well that night, but Ethan did not. The twins woke up about every two hours, and he was always worried, he would get up and make formula as soon as he heard the babies cry.
After a night of hustle and bustle, Ethan looked a bit tired. When Ines woke up, he was already asleep. Looking at Ethan's sleeping face, Ines was slightly surprised. She thought carefully and realized that Ethan hadn't slept well these two days.
He was more worried than anyone when she was in labor, and after the babies were born, she could sleep, but he was still busy taking care of them.
Thinking about this, Ines quietly got out of bed and went straight to the twins.
The twins were still sleeping sweetly. Oliver's hand was not near his mouth, but raised high above his head. Olivia was still very quiet, but her little face was slightly skewed.
Ines gently touched their little faces and asked, "Mom, did Ethan get up to take care of the babies last night? He looks very tired."
"Yes, every time the kids woke up, just as we were about to prepare their formula, he had already done it and brought it over. The twins woke up at different times, so he was probably busy all night and didn't get a good rest. Let him sleep a bit more."
Ines nodded, and Camela said, "Izzy, generally you will have breast milk twenty-four hours after giving birth. It might be a bit scarce at first, but you can let the twins try later. Colostrum is the most nutritious, don't waste it."
Just as Camela finished speaking, Ines saw Olivia wake up. This time, she even opened her eyes since the curtains in the room were not yet opened. The little girl's eyes were fully open, which were exactly the same as hers, which made people feel affectionate.
"Mom, Bella's eyes are open," Ines exclaimed excitedly.
Erica came over and saw that Bella's eyes were sparkling, she couldn't help but laugh, "Did this child open her eyes because she heard she could have breast milk?"
Ines smiled, picked up little Bella, gently bumped her small nose with her forehead, then rubbed her face against Bella's little face, her expression very tender, "Bella, I am your mom."
Ines glanced at the still sleeping Oliver, he was still sleeping soundly. At this time she could only feed Bella.
