The cool roses beneath her feet made Ines huddle her toes. When Ethan watched her adorable reaction, his heart tightened in his chest. He pressed her against the wall adorned with roses. His body quickly covered hers. He started kissing her gently at the corner of her mouth, her nose, her eyes, her eyelashes, and her forehead. His gaze was filled with a indescribable amount of adoration and tenderness.
Up close, she could see his beautifully defined jawline leading up to his strong nose, slightly curled eyelashes, and deep dark eyes filled with a tenderness that seemed to penetrate her soul.
Ines could hear her heart pounding uncontrollably. Ethan was right; she was completely smitten with his looks. Otherwise, she would have refused his proposal if he had been average-looking. She would consider that to be frivolous, and possibly even would call him a lunatic before walking away. She wouldn’t waste her time on a blind date with him.
With this thought, a smile appeared at the corner of her lips. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his inviting lips. Ethan’s eyes sparkled as he tightened his grip on her waist. His hand started to roam on her side, unzipping her dress and exploring her smooth skin.
Having not been this intimate for a while, Ines was trembling slightly. Ethan kissed her eyes and whispered seductively in her ear, “Izzy, open your eyes. Let me look at you, and you can look at me.”
Hearing his words, Ines slowly opened her eyes. She could clearly see her shy and alluring reflection in the mirror. Even she was taken aback by her own appearance.
Her stunned expression made Ethan chuckle. He bit her earlobe gently and said, “Do you know that you look so adorable at this moment?” He emphasized the word “adorable”.
“Stop teasing,” Ines scolded Ethan playfully. Taking advantage of her open mouth, Ethan quickly leaned in. His kiss was both assertive and gentle, stealing her breath away. Surrounded by the scent of roses and his minty cologne, Ines felt dizzy and weak. Her legs felt weak, and she was entirely at his mercy.
It wasn’t until they fell onto the bed that Ines regained some awareness. Looking at the man who was so infatuated with her, she felt a sense of pride. With a swift move, she managed to flip their positions. She was on top of him now.
Ethan raised an eyebrow at her. Ines blushed like a ripe apple but bravely voiced her thoughts, “Honey, it’s my turn this time.”
“Alright, it’s rare for you to take the initiative. I won’t pass up this opportunity.”
This was both a sweet torment for Ethan and a challenging conquest for Ines. When everything calmed down, Ines was so tired that she even couldn’t lift a finger. She curled up in Ethan’s arms like a gentle leopard, catching her breath.
Just as her eyelids were about to close, Ethan started to move again. Ines moved slightly, “Ethan, let’s sleep. It’s getting late.”
Ethan was obviously still in the mood. His kisses trailed down her back, trying to stoke her passion again. “Izzy, you sleep. I’ll take care of the rest.”
Ines was both amused and speechless. This man must be doing this on purpose. But he was the man she loved dearly. She was willing to indulge him, because she appreciated his patience and self-control.
