Broken Memories, Intertwined Hearts novel Chapter 446

“Ines, this isn’t the time to mince words. You’d better think twice before you talk to me. I’m not trying to scare you, but the situation is getting worse. If you don’t make a decision soon, even if you’re begging on your knees, I won’t help you,” Silvia threatened.

Ines’ expression changed slightly. She knew Silvia wouldn’t help them without a condition. “Name your price.”

“I want you to divorce Ethan. As soon as you divorce him, I promise to help him. I’ll treat your son and daughter as my own, as if they were my own flesh and blood,” Silvia declared firmly.

Ines wasn’t concerned about Silvia’s credibility. She was again shocked by her relentless obsession. Despite Ethan’s attitude towards her, Silvia still couldn’t let go. She still wanted Ethan.

What was even more absurd, she wanted to become the stepmother of the two children.

There was no way she could let go of Ethan’s hand. Even if she was willing to divorce Ethan, that domineering man might not be willing to let go, let alone have anything to do with Silvia.

“I don’t know you have this hobby, liking to be someone else’s stepmother,” Ines sneered.

“Ines, I’m not joking with you. I mean every word. You’d better think it over.” Ines laughed. She felt that Silvia never loved Ethan, but just had a perverse possessiveness towards him. Even knowing that Ethan hated her to the bone, she still wanted to stick to him. “Silvia, what you said is indeed very tempting, but I won’t cooperate with you. My husband has his own pride, so he won’t want me to help him in this way. And I believe in his abilities. He will turn danger into safety without anyone’s help. You don’t have to waste your energy trying to manipulate me. I won’t agree to any of your requests.”

“Ines, I told you not to make hasty decisions. I’ll give you three days to think it over. It’s not too late to tell me your decision after you’ve thought it over.”

“No need. No matter how long I think about it, my answer will be the same. There won’t be any changes.”

“Ines…”

Before Silvia could say anything else, Ines hung up. Silvia was so angry that she threw her phone to the ground and knocked over the cup on the table.

At that moment, the office door was pushed open. Silvia looked up to see Russel standing at the entrance with a dark expression, seemingly holding back his anger.
