Chapter 112 

None of the ten guests knew how to cook; this was probably the first impression both the production team and the audience had of them. 

After all, they were either big–shot celebrities or wealthy heirs; it would be strange if any of them knew how to cook. 

The idea of them having to prepare their own hunch seemed like a recipe for disaster. It was clear that the production team was being truly ruthless, 

For Schestian, who had participated in many variety shows, he was already accustomed to the production team’s various tricks. They never made things easy for the guests and would often set up traps and schemes to toy with them. 

Chuck added with a smile. “Everyone, you can use my cookers. I have some oil, salt, and other basics? 

Daniel then coolly added, “As for the ingredients, there’s nothing here. You’ll have to earn them yourselves. In short, it’s up to your own abilities” 

The guests were left speechless. 

Sebestian facepalmed. He knew it was going to be tough, but this was on another level. 

Elaine looked at Chuck and smiled. “Thank you. Chuck.” 

Chuck shook his head. “No need to mention it.” 

The celebrities had called ahead to film the show in the village, and both the village chief and the villagers were happy to welcome them. 

Elaine had previously called Chuck, saying she wanted to help promote the local tourist spots and the sale of local specialties. 

She had already donated a sum of money to improve the village’s infrastructure, including building a new road that made travel to the city much 

casier. 

Now that she was coming to film a show here, Chuck was even more grateful to Elaine. 

Years ago. Elaine had been abandoned at the village entrance and was found by an elderly scavenger who had been living alone for decades. 

Melissa York, whose husband and only son had passed away, had a strong will to survive despite the hardships she faced. 

With a slight disability in her leg, she made a living by collecting trash. The villagers, feeling sympathy for her, would often save paper or bottles for

One day, Melissa found a baby girl in the dump. This baby was Elaine

Melissa took an instant liking to the girl and decided to adopt her. The villagers advised her to hand the child over to the police, but seeing Melissa’s determination, they didn’t say more. 

All these years, the villagers had helped Melissa raise this baby girl and treated them very well. Usually, if they needed any help, they would help. Elaine had grown up on their collective support. They had a good relationship with Elaine. 

Until one day, a man from the Yeats family claimed Elaine as his child, and she left Floren Village. 

The only consolation was that after years of hardship, Melissa was able to enjoy a peaceful and happy retirement under Elaine’s care. She spent her final years in contentment and passed away last year. Melissa was buried on the hill opposite the village. 

Although her adoptive mother had passed away, Elaine still visited her and the village occasionally during holidays.

Trevon was visiting Floren Village for the second time. As a wealthy heir, he felt extremely uncomfortable in such a rustic place. 

He couldn’t understand how Elaine had the courage to hide here and endure hardship just to spite them. 

Now, they didn’t even have food to eat. It was like a survival challenge in the wild, surviving here seemed almost impossible

Before Trevon could say anything. Bianca spoke up. “I think there’s a fish pond nearby. There should be fish in it. I can catch some fish, and we won’t have to worry a 

abour lunch”

Bianca had many great skills. She was truly versatile. 

Upon hearing Bianca’s words, Trevon’s face lit up. He almost forget 

Trevon said with a smile, “Bianca, I almost forgot you’re such a great fisher. That’s fantastic. If you can catch some fish, we’ll have fish for lunch today” 

Trevon raised his voice, clearly wanting everyone to hear how amazing Bianca was. 

Then, he couldn’t help but add, “Unlike some girl who is only good at talking but probably can’t do anything else. Don’t be too embarrassed when you’re eating fish and just keep saying how delicious it is.” 

Trevon’s words were clearly aimed at Elaine. 

Chelsea’s stomach had been growling for a while. When she heard about fish, she couldn’t help but swallow her saliva, thinking how delicious it would be. But then she heard Trevon’s sarcastic remark and glanced worriedly at Elaine, her eyes full of concern. 

Sebestian and Laura had similar reactions. Elaine and Trevon had just had a public feud online before filming this show. Is Trevon holding a grudge and trying to make things difficult for Elaine? they wondered.
