Elaine leaned back in her chair, her expression relaxed and her lips curling into a wicked sale. She looked so stunning that no one in the room could tear their eyes away.

A third shareholder added, frowning. “Elaine is his sister too, and yet be’s treating her this way. It’s unfair” 

The atmosphere in the meeting instantly became tense 

Daisy, sitting beside Bianca, glared at Elaine, her lips curling into a sneer 

Elaine’s using their grandfather as a shield, she thought, but I’m not scared of her. She took the dress I wanted for Bianca, but Shawn will make things right. In the end, Bianca will come out on cop 

Shawn pursed his Lips, his confidence faltering for the first time. 

His previous expectations–of Elaine bowing down to him–seemed foolish now. 

She wasn’t the same woman who would just let him take what he wanted. 

Shawn realized he might have acted too quickly. He was sure Starlight Eashion would eventually be Biancas, and Elaine would come to terms w handing the company over to her. 

Shawn was confident Banca would be the perfect fit. With her undeniable talent in fashion design, it only made sense for her to take control of Starlight Fashion. 

He cleared his throat, trying to regain composure. His voice was softer, less certain this time. “Im not saying Bianca should lead the desir department immediately. But everyone knows her talent. Last month, her Celestial Angel collection was a huge success”
