Chapter 78
Niamh turned around to look at Castiel as well as Macy, who was wrapped in his arms. Meanwhile, Macy didn’t seem panicked at all despite having been exposed.
She just shrunk back against Castiel’s arms calmly.
When Niamh lunged forward earlier, Castiel had set Macy down. He simply wrapped an arm around her to embrace her protectively. It was really ironic.
At that moment, Castiel was also stunned. He stared at his hand, then at Niamh. The fleeting flash of guilt in his eyes was quickly hidden. All that remained was the warning yet disappointed look he gave Niamh.
How could Niamh not be disappointed?
“How many times has it been?” she asked.
Castiel’s tone became cold. “You’re really becoming more and more brazen.”
“Ha!” Brazen.
Right now, the way Castiel was talking was very similar to how his father always talked to his mother. As expected of a Jamison man.
What were women to them?
To Jamison men, women were really nothing. Niamh had thought that he was special, but little did she know, he was the same.
When things became hostile, he became a tyrant. Everyone had to listen to him, and anyone else was wrong.
“Castiel, you disgust me.” As soon as she said that, Niamh turned around and left. She never wanted to see him again.
How many times had it been?
She couldn’t remember, either. She couldn’t remember how many times.
Castiel had slapped her because of Macy.
Instead of him being disappointed in her, it should be the other way around.
“Stop right there!” As Niamh left, Castiel wanted to chase after her. However, he felt a weight in his arms. Macy had fainted.

Niamh didn’t know how she had left the hospital. She was dressed lightly as she stood in the night breeze. At that moment, a cold wind blew toward
her.
She felt the chill seep into her bones. Even so… she felt like the chilly breeze was nothing compared to the ice in her heart.
It was also far from the coldness that Castiel made her feel.
She also hadn’t realized that she had dialed Billie’s number. Still, her friend
quickly picked up. When Niamh spoke, she sounded completely helpless. Billie.”
On the other end of the line, Billie was stunned. “Where are you?”
“I’m at the hospital.”
“Are you hurt? Stay there, and don’t go anywhere. I’ll be right there!”
With that, she hung up without even asking which hospital Niamh was at. It was evident that she was in a panic.
The moment the call ended, Niamh looked up at the cloudy night sky. Tears pooled in her eyes, but she forced them back.
The sky was probably weeping for her because it soon started to drizzle.
When Billie arrived, she found Niamh standing in the rain, soaking wet. She Nooked so pitiful that Billie’s heart trembled.
“Niamh!” Billie got down from her car and ran toward her.
She tore her jacket off her body and wrapped Niamh in it. “What are you. doing? Do you want to die?” she roared angrily.
