Chapter 83 

Seeing how unfazed Niamh was, Castiel’s eyes filled with rage. Even his usually gentle face was twisted with anger. 

“Niamh, how could you be so inappropriate? After what happened abroad, you couldn’t wait to do it again, could you? What exactly does Blake see in you?” 

“I don’t know what exactly he sees in me, but he definitely sees something!” Niamh didn’t even bother explaining anymore. 

Also, she deliberately tried to mislead him by not explaining. 

Watching Castiel’s expression darken slowly, she still felt unbothered. 

No one knew what she had felt earlier. When she was in a daze just now, she could smell the pungent scent of antiseptic. With Castiel next to her, she had thought… 

She had thought her past life was repeating itself, that Castiel had strapped her to the operating table and forcefully had her corneas removed again. 

But Macy wasn’t blind!

That pissed Castiel off even further. In the end, he slammed the door and left. His anger was palpable. 

Niamh sat up in the hospital bed. She closed her eyes, hiding the flash of pain in them. 

After Niamh was treated with an IV drip, she gave Quinn a call. Quinn said that it was still early, so she would pick her up for lunch. 

Afterward, they would meet up with Blake at the Leopardbite Intl. 

office later. 

Then, they would go to the final review with Blake’s staff. 

In the car, Niamh stared ahead at the road and asked, “Where are we going to eat?” 

Why did it feel like they were going further and further out? 

Quinn glanced at her and said, “Chesaspeaks Bay has been prepared for you.” 

“Chesaspeaks Bay?” 

Niamh was shocked. 

She naturally knew where Chesaspeaks Bay was. It was a well–known wealthy neighborhood in Greenburg. The entire area was over 1700 acres, but there were only three villas. 

The residents who lived there were very mysterious. To this day, it was a mystery in Greenburg. 

Were they on the way to Chesaspeaks Bay now? 

“Yes. Mr. Jimenez was concerned with bothering Ms. Shea, so he said you can live at Chesaspeaks Bay from now onward.” 

Niamh was speechless. 

Live at Chesaspeaks Bay? It was such an exclusive place, but Simon was able to let her stay there with just a word. 

Taking a deep breath, she said, “There’s no need for that. I’ll just buy a home in the city.” 

“You’re the niece of the chairman of the Titan International 

Corporation, and Mr. Jimenez is your only blood relative. How could he let you stay anywhere else?” 

Hearing that explanation, Niamh was able to come to terms with it better.
