Camp Closeted novel Chapter 18

"I don't think I like the idea of my only quiet place being invaded by smokers." Sascha whispered as we sat next to each other in the carpet, our bodies slightly squeezed together by the bookshelves.

My eyes watched as Cadence and Rama smoked to themselves in a corner. "Yea, out of all places why smoke here?" I whispered, grabbing the piece of cookie Sascha was offering me. "Thanks."

Sascha narrowed his eyes at the boys that had huge clouds of smoke coming out of their mouths, the smell of weed reeking around the library. "What scares me the most is that they don't know that we're in here. They probably think they're the first ever people to come in here, and if they see us, they would think that we're the ones invading them." He sighed.

"Don't you talk to Cadence though?" I asked quietly. "I saw you guys in an alleyway once remember? I had to interrupt because he seemed a little to aggressive with you."

Sascha immediately shook his head in distaste, his curls falling onto his face because of his sudden movement. "Cadence just likes to follow me around. He can get a little aggressive sometimes but he does look out for me a lot." He shrugged innocently.

"Sascha." I spoke deeply, his head turning towards me. "What are your preferred pronouns?" I slightly pinched myself praying I didn't offend him.

"I'm a boy." His eyes shimmered as he tried to hold in his laughter. "You're not the first one to ask, don't worry."

Just as I tried to whisper back, Cadence began talking to Rama. "You don't speak much huh?" He asked Rama as Sascha and I eavesdropped.

Rama remained quiet and coldly ignored Cadence, his head was tilted to the side as he remained completely dead, slowly breathing out smoke. His head being tilted gave me a chance to look at his dark tattoos on the side of his neck, not knowing how to feel about them.

Rama's incredibly reddened eyes were slightly narrowed as his mouth was opened. My mouth slightly dropped as his pale lips began to form a sheepish smile.

Cadence began to let out a deep chuckle, watching Rama throw him the widest grin ever. "This shit can resurrect a corpse from the dead, what I tell you?"

Sascha turned towards me. "Never expected to see him smile like that." He whispered.

I felt myself let out a sharp exhale as Rama's mouth met Cadence's. Sascha's eyes widened at me as if all his innocence were completely stripped away from him.

Cadence flicked his blunt away as he cupped the back of Rama's neck, deeply kissing him back as things started to get heated, fast.

I didn't wanna be a creep and watch this.

"S-Sascha please tell me theres another exit." I gulped, hearing Cadence deeply moan into Rama.

"There's another exit." He squeaked.

"Uh yea we're leaving now!" I sharply whispered. I quickly cupped my mouth as I grabbed Sascha's hand to leave the library.

The sound of someone falling to the carpet made it's way into our ears as it was followed by Cadence's laugh. "Dude you're so high!"

The only quiet place I've found here so far and it's already taken away from me..

Andrew looked down at me. "What about you Micah? You're always quiet. Who are you taking to the bonfire?" He asked as I took a deep breath in.

Logan looked intently at me as if he looked nervous for some reason. "No one. I'm probably just gonna stay in and sleep." I yawned into my pillow.

The group all just looked at each other as if they all knew something I didn't, Logan's voice starting to trail off. "W-well I figured since you're new and you haven't really been to the bonfire," He took a quick pause as he glared at Benny who was trying not to laugh. "I wanted to ask if you wanted to come with me, pasta boy." He cheekily smirked, his grayish blue eyes sparkling at me.

My cheeks heated up as my mouth dropped at everyone who looked at me amused. "You guys knew?" I asked loudly.

"Maybe we did, maybe we didn't." Benny laughed. "Say no to him just for the fuck of it." He cackled, Logan nudging his shoulder.

Logan's eyes didn't leave mine, his pale freckled cheeks beginning to burn as I threw him a warm smile. "I-I'd love too."

Logan looked slightly relieved and shocked at the same time, making me half-laugh at his facial expression. "C-cool." He nodded, awkwardly breathing to himself.

"Cool." I replied softly, trying not to make things awkward as Benny squealed to himself.

Could Logan have a thing for me?
