Chapter 0011
Suzy’s voice turned sharp. “You’re getting more talkative these days.”
Allen quickly backtracked. “Alright, alright, you’re the boss. Whatever makes you happy. Same terms as before?”
“I want Dylan to support Claude for the position of CEO at Harlow Corporation.”
“Got it.”
At the Wright Corporation, in Dylan’s office.
Dylan frowned, looking up at Desmond. “Claude Harlow?”
Desmond nodded. “Yes, Claude Harlow is the second son of Matthew Harlow.”
“Claude….” Dylan’s long fingers tapped “Claude…” Dylan’s long fingers tapped rhythmically on the desk. “Seems like there’s more to Red Falcon’s connection with the Harlow family than we thought.”
“That would make sense. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have made such a specific request when they called,” Desmond added.
Desmond, sensing there was more to their relationship, couldn’t help but remark, “For someone who turned down two hundred million dollars, going out of her way for Mr. Matthew’s second son… there’s definitely something more going on there. Smells like love to me.“!
Dylan raised an eyebrow, his expression tinged with disdain as he thought of the freckled. woman. “She’s not much to look at, but her taste isn’t bad. Claude’s got more talent than his brother.”
It was just unfortunate that over the years, Claude had been consistently overshadowed by him.
Hearing Dylan compliment someone for once was a rarity.
So, did that mean…
“Sir, you’re agreeing to this?”
Dylan’s voice lowered, carrying a note of warning. “Tell them that if there’s any more deception, Claude will be the one to bear the consequences.”
If Claude was that important to Red Falcon, then Dylan could easily use him to control her

When Suzy heard Allen’s account of Dylan’s response, she laughed. “He sure knows how to seize an opportunity.”
Allen scoffed. “That scumbag really thinks he’s something special, doesn’t he? Boss, we could help Claude ourselves. We don’t need that dog, Dylan. Look at him strutting around like he’s untouchable.”

“It’s different,” Suzy explained. “If we help from the shadows, Julian will still find make Claude’s life difficult. His brother would only come back harder, and it would cause unnecessary trouble. But if Dylan steps in, things change.
“No one can match Dylan’s tactics. If Julian tries to go after Claude, he’ll have to think twice about what happens when he crosses Dylan.”
Her reasoning was clear–she wanted to give Claude a solid protector, someone he could rely on when things settled. And Dylan was the perfect person for the job.
Allen, still feeling a bit salty, muttered, “I guess Claude’s the only one you’d go through all this trouble for, huh, Boss?”
Suzy shot him a sideways glance. “There’s a bottle of wine in the kitchen if something to wash down all that jealousy.”
