Chapter 0151
“The number you’re trying to reach is currently on another call. Please try again later…”
Victor tried twice, only to hear the same automated message.
“Who could he be
on the phone with for this lon?”
Dylan never spent more than a minute on any call, no matter who it was. If he was on this one for several minutes, it had to be important. Victor decided to give it some time, figuring Dylan would call him back.
But even after he got home, there was no word from Dylan. When he called again, he the same response.
That was when it dawned on him–Suzy was probably behind this.
“Think blocking his phone will stop me?” he muttered, heading downstairs.
Just then, his phone chimed with a message from Suzy,
got
“After all these years of Nadia doing everything for you, isn’t it time you made a move? Three days from now is an auspicious date–how about I organize a wedding for the two of you?”
Victor clenched his teeth and immediately called her on messenger, half–expecting her to ignore it.

“So, have you given it any thought?” Suzy’s voice prodded.

Victor thought he had her cornered, feeling quite pleased with himself–until she abruptly
ended the call.
Almost immediately, a message came through. It was an Image with a caption.
“What do you think of this invitation template? If you’re indecisive, I’ll send it straight to Miss Nadia for feedback.”
Victor scrambled to call her back, and this time, she took her time before answering. He
grumbled, “You win this round.”
Suzy laughed softly on the other end. “Sure.”
