Chapter 0175
Though Hawk outmatched Suzy in hacking and hypnosis, there was one area where he couldn’t hold a candle to her: poison–making. Talent was innate–a gift that no amount of training could replicate. In the art of concocting poisons, not even their mentor, if he were still alive, could rival Suzy.
Working through the night, Suzy crafted a new potent poison and then arranged at meeting with Hawk.
Hawk sounded thrilled by her invitation. “Junior, we must be on the same wavelength. I was just about to call you, and here you are calling me first.”
“Is that so?” Suzy’s tone was neutral. “Let’s not beat around the bush. Was it you who meddled with Diana?”
“Now that’s an unfair accusation,” Hawk denied smoothly. “Diana is a lost piecè on the board to me. There’s no point wasting any more time on her. Someone is clearly trying to drive a wedge between us. Don’t fall for it, Junior!‘
“Oh, I see. Then I owe you an apology.” She kept her tone measured. “To show my sincerity, I’ve reserved a small banquet at Gold Eagle Heights. Care to join me?”
Hawk agreed instantly. “An invitation from you? Of course, I’ll be there. And as it happens, I have a gift for you as well.”
At Gold Eagle Heights.
From a distance, Riley spotted Hawk stepping out of his car and felt like he’d seen a ghost. She rushed to Room 1. “Boss, I just saw Claude! Alive and walking!”
“That’s Hawk.”
“What?” Riley was visibly shaken. “He’s Hawk?”
Suzy nodded, explaining that Hawk and Claude were twins–a fact she had recently confirmed after an investigation.
It turned out Hawk hadn’t lied. The prenatal reports of Claude’s mother showed she had been carrying twins. But one child was born with a congenital defect, pronounced dead at birth, and abandoned at the hospital. No one had imagined that the child would survive, growing up to become such a feared figure.
Riley shook his head in disbelief. “So that’s the story. The one who should have died lived, and the one who deserved to live… didn’t.”
She was, of course, referring to Claude.

Chapter 0175
Thinking of Claude brought a pang of sadness to Suzy.
With everything that had been happening lately, she hadn’t visited his grave in quite some
time.
As she mulled it over, Hawk pushed open the door.
Today, he was dressed in a deep navy suit–the same color Claude had always favored.
For a fleeting moment, Suzy almost mistook him for Claude. She wondered if it was a case of twin preferences or if he had chosen the color deliberately.
She suspected the latter.
He confirmed her, suspicion when he immediately asked, “Junior, what do you think of my outfit today?”
