Chapter 0258
No wonder some people wanted Suzy dead as much as Anne did–someone like Suzy was truly terrifying.
Dylan shot Anne a look of pure disgust. “Get out.”
Those two words were all he had to say to her. He didn’t want to waste another second on
her.
However, Anne ignored him and red over, forcing herself onto his lap. “What’s the
matter? Are you upset?”
She traced her fingers along his defined jawline, her voice dripping with mockery. “But
everything I said was true. She doesn’t love you anymore. And the cruelest part>”
have yourself to blame for that.”

Dylan grabbed her wandering hand and yanked her off him, tossing her to the floor with
case.
“Dylan Wright!” Anne hissed from the floor, glaring up at him with annoyance. “I’m still carrying your child!”
Dylan let out a cold laugh.
Rising from his chair, he walked over to her and placed his foot firmly on her hand just as she tried to push herself up.
“Anne,” he said in a low, menacing voice, “you and I both know whether that child is really mine.”
Her eyes flickered with unease. “What’s that supposed to mean? Are you seriously trying to deny it after everything? Just because you had your fun after sleeping with me, you’re now pretending it didn’t happen?”
She struggled to free her hand from beneath his weight, but his strength was unyielding.
Dylan pressed down harder. “That night, I was drunk, but not so far gone that I wouldn’t remember what happened. You didn’t fool me as easily as you think.”
His memories of the evening were hazy, but one thing was crystal clear–he hadn’t -touched her. The child she claimed to be his couldn’t possibly be.
“I didn’t lie!” Anne protested, desperation creeping into her voice. “The child is yours! If you don’t believe me, wait until it’s born and do a DNA test!”
Her stubborn denial only fueled Dylan’s anger. He increased the pressure on her hand, his expression icy. “Whether it’s mine or not doesn’t matter. If you want this child to survive, you’d better behave. Otherwise…”

He leaned in closer, his tone dark and deliberate. “You’ll both end up dead.”
“You wouldn’t dare…” Anne’s voice wavered, a trace of fear slipping through her defiance. “Don’t forget, if anything happens to me, Suzy won’t survive either!”
**Dylan feigned indifference, his tone and gaze both cold as ice. “You just said it yourself- she doesn’t feel anything for me anymore. Why should I care whether she lives or dies? Anne, don’t think you can keep using Suzy to threaten me forever.”
With that, he lifted his foot off her hand. “If you want to live a little longer, I suggest you stay out of my sight. Now, get out.”
Anne scrambled to her feet, glaring at the red marks on her hand where he’d stepped on her. Hatred simmered in her chest, but no matter how angry she was, she didn’t dare speak another word.
