Chapter 0370
Chapter 0379
Dylan hadn’t shown up at the office for two days, and he wasn’t answering his phone. Worried something might have happened, Desmond decided to check on him at Bayview Heights.
He knocked on the door repeatedly, but there was no response. No one answered.
Under normal circumstances, Dylan would always inform Desmond of his whereabouts. This sudden disappearance was highly unusual, and Desmond’s unease grew.
Convinced something was wrong, he immediately went to Victor.
“Mr. Steele, my boss is missing!” Desmond announced anxiously.
“Missing? And what does that have to do with me?” Victor replied irritably. “He told us to stay out of his business, so don’t come running to me. Go find someone else to bother!”
“My boss hasn’t been to the office for two days! He’s not answering his phone, and when he
skips work, he’s usually at Bayview Heights. But when I got there, no one answered the door no matter how many times I knocked!
“The last time I couldn’t reach him like this was three years ago… I’m worried it’s the same people again.”
Victor froze for a moment, the memory of that incident sobering him instantly. His irritation melted away, and he quickly got up from his seat.
“Stay here,” he ordered before making several calls, reaching out to Graham and the others.
The group sprang into action, pooling their resources to track Dylan down.
Eventually, they uncovered a lead: Dylan had been taken by Suzy.
Victor wasted no time storming over to the Hillside Villa, where Suzy was staying. He barged in and demanded answers.
“Suzy! Did you kidnap Dylan?”
“Yes,” Suzy replied coolly, her tone devoid of emotion. “He’s here.”
“Why?”
“And how is that your business?” Suzy sneered, her expression mocking “Victor, you’ve always had a habit of sticking your nose where it doesn’t belong, haven’t you?”
“Cut the nonsense!” Victor snapped, his face dark with anger. “I don’t care what the reason is. Let him go! Dylan hasn’t done anything to you recently.”
“You think I’ll just release him because you said so?” Suzy’s lips curved into a cold smile.” You have a much higher opinion of yourself than you should.”

“Suzy…” Victor slammed his fist on the table in front of her, his frustration boiling over. What the hell are you trying to do?”
“What I do is my business,” Suzy said sharply, pointing toward the door. “It’s getting late. I won’t be seeing you out.”
“Suzy!” Victor ground his teeth, his frustration reaching its limit. “Even if you don’t want him, there’s no need to treat him like this!”
“Get out,”
“Fine!” Victor laughed coldly, his patience completely snapped. “If you won’t play nice, don’t expect me to do the same.”
Victor pulled out his phone and made a call.
Moments later, Graham arrived with a group of men, storming into the villa and surrounding Suzy completely.
Victor’s expression was cold and unyielding as he confronted her. “Suzy, I’m asking you one last time–where is Dylan?”
“Looking for a fight?” Suzy’s tone was fearless, her gaze sharp. “I’m happy to oblige.”
