Chapter 0422
Victor was having a hard time processing it. “Are you saying the person before wasn’t Lucas but Claude?”
“Yes!” Suzy’s voice was hoarse.
“The Dylan from before was actually Claude in disguise. As for the real Dylan, I don’t even know where he is now. I’ve searched everywhere I could think of but still couldn’t find him. That’s why I decided to tell you the truth and ask if you could request the organization’s help in the search.
Suzy was truly at her wit’s end. Otherwise, she would have chosen to keep it from Victor for the time being. After all, revealing it would only make more people worry about Dylan. Worse, the news could reach Grace, whose health had just started to improve. She didn’t want her to face any more distress.
On the other end of the line, Victor sounded furious. “I knew something felt off about Lucas. When I saw him on the island, I had this sense that he wasn’t himself, but I thought maybe I was overthinking it. Turns out, it really wasn’t him!”
“Exactly. I can’t believe I didn’t notice!” Suzy felt a pang of guilt. “If I had realized sooner, maybe…”
At this point, Victor couldn’t hold back his frustration on Dylan’s behalf. “Suzy, let me be honest with you. You’ve always been too biased against Dylan. The man he is now is completely different from the one you knew before. These days, you mean more to him than his own life. He’s changed so much for you because he loves you.
After a brief pause, Victor asked, “If we find Dylan, another chance?”
would you be willing to give him
Suzy didn’t answer the question. Instead, she said, “Just send a request to the organization as soon as possible. I’ll be waiting here.”
With that, Suzy hung up first.
After ending the call, she asked herself the same question.
“If Dylan is found, would I give him another chance?”
In the past, she would’ve answered decisively. But now…
She wasn’t sure anymore. She didn’t know how she would respond if Dylan asked her to reconcile again.
Victor arrived quickly, showing up early the next morning with a team in tow.

Chapter 6477
“You should have told me sooner,” he said, clearly displeased. “The moment something happened, you should have informed me. Now, so much time has passed–there’s a chance that Dylan might already…”
“Impossible!” Suzy interrupted before he could finish. “Dylan is definitely still alive!”
She didn’t even realize how sensitive she had become, unwilling to hear any mention of Dylan’s possible death.
