The man spoke in the local dialect, and Suzy, luckily equipped with a translator, managed to understand his words. Without it, she wouldn’t have had a clue what he was saying. 

Not speaking the local language herself, she simply shook her head and replied firmly, “No.” But the man wasn’t deterred. Switching to broken Zentoran, he tried again. “You look like you’re from Zentora. My Zentoran is not good, but I can say a little. I promise I didn’t bump you on purpose, and I sincerely apologize.
