she thought that after that incident, their paths would never cross again. But to her surprise, Elliot had his father pay a hefty sum to track her down, declaring his intent to become her apprentice.
Of course, she refused.
She had no interest in taking on disciples, especially not one who was already an adult.
However, she underestimated his persistence. For six whole months, he clung to her, refusing to give up. She had never met a man so annoyingly determined.
In the end, she had no choice but to relent.
And so, she accepted him as her student and began teaching him martial arts.
He turned out to be a talented disciple, and in just a year, he had mastered everything she taught and was ready to move on.

“The reason I came here is because I received reliable information that he was spotted in this

“You’re the local boss here. Why not use your influence to have your men help search for Dad? Who knows, we might get some news quickly!”
Elliot nodded. “Alright, but…
Suzy immediately tensed. “But what?”
“I don’t remember what Dad looks like,” Elliot admitted. “You’ll need to show me a picture
first. It’ll make it easier for my men to search. I’ll also have them print out copies of his photo.
