“Yay!” Diana cheered like a child, even sticking her tongue out at Elliot in a teasing, triumphant gesture. 

Elliot was thoroughly exasperated. If it weren’t for his policy of never hitting women, he’d have been tempted to grab this troublesome girl and give her a piece of his mind. 

“Mentor, even if she’s coming, she’ll have to take the next flight. Ours is about to take off.‘
