Chapter 0589
Thanks to timely intervention, Tanya was pulled back from the brink of death. However, she remained tight–lipped about the man she’d secretly met.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” she repeated firmly.
“Tanya, if someone dared to target you here on Dylan’s turf, it shows how ruthless they are. If you really want to die, I won’t stop you.”
Even with Suzy’s blunt warning, Tanya stuck to her story. “I really don’t know.”
-Dylan, standing off to the side, had clearly run out of patience. “Tanya, our patience is limited. You’d better start cooperating.”
“I told you, I don’t know. You just don’t believe me,” Tanya said weakly, her voice barely above a whisper. “I’m tired. I’d like to rest.”
With that, she closed her eyes, signaling the conversation was over.
Suzy exchanged a glance with Dylan before the two of them exited the room.
Once outside, Suzy immediately said, “I’ll have someone come over and take her away.”

Dylan frowned. “The person behind this hasn’t been found yet. It’s not safe to move her.”
“I’m not asking for your permission,” Suzy replied, her tone icy. “Don’t forget, this has nothing to do with you.”
With those parting words, she left without looking back.
Watching her walk away, Dylan could only sigh in regret. With her attitude, any hope of reconciliation seemed impossible for the foreseeable future.
Not long after, Suzy sent Allen to retrieve Tanya. If someone wanted to make a move, intended to find out just how capable they were.
Suzy
Tanya knew what Suzy wanted from her, but…
Staring out the window, Tanya clenched her fists tightly. She had made up her mind.
A decision that led to…
“What are you doing?”
The voice startled her. The fruit knife she had been holding against her wrist fell to the floor aş Suzy walked in.
Jumping up, Tanya backed into the corner of the room. “Stay away from me!”
“You were going to kill yourself?” Suzy asked, her brows furrowing. “Why?”

Whether I live or die, isn’t that my choice?”
“It is your choice,” Suzy replied, her expression cold and unreadable. “But not here. I have no interest in being accused of causing the death of the Goodwin family’s heiress.”
Tanya let out a mocking laugh. “Aren’t you supposed to be fearless? And now you’re suddenly scared?”
