CEO Broke Down and Cried After I Divorced Him novel Chapter 700

"Exactly, who could know him so well?"

Claude always kept to himself, avoiding deep connections with anyone.

As Allen had pointed out, there weren’t many people who truly understood him.

Yet, this person seemed to know every detail about him, mimicking him so perfectly that it felt like the real thing.

Pulling herself out of her thoughts, Suzy gave Allen instructions.

"Track down the source of the leaks online. Investigate the IDs behind the posts. There might be something useful there."

"We’ve already tracked one of the IDs and locked it down," Allen replied with a sigh.

"But just like before, it led nowhere. Every time we think we’re close, it feels like they’re just toying with us. It’s the same with Vivian and her son.

“We know they’re being directed by someone, but no matter how hard we dig, we can’t figure out who’s pulling the strings."

Allen’s frustration was palpable.

"We’ve always had access to the world’s most advanced search systems. Normally, we’d have results in no time. But now... I’m starting to wonder if I’m losing my touch."

Suzy picked up a nearby folder and lightly tapped it against his head.

"Stop doubting yourself. Even the best investigator can feel helpless when dealing with someone who knows their every move and hides in the shadows."

The enemy’s familiarity with their methods was unnervingly precise.

That was the only reason they were forced into such a passive position.

"Alright," Allen relented, his tone softer.

He couldn’t help but admire her resilience. "Boss, your ability to stay composed is amazing. No matter what happens, you always seem so optimistic."

Suzy smiled faintly. "And what would pessimism achieve? Negativity doesn’t solve problems; it only adds unnecessary mental stress."

Allen nodded in agreement. "You’re right. No matter what happens, we can’t give up."
