Chapter 91 

Hailey pulled away from the hug. She stared into Cole’s eyes. “So what next?” 

Me arched his eyebrows at her. 

“You are not going to leave me, are you?” 

Cole brought his hand to her cheek, caressing her left cheek with the back of his fingers. 

“Why would you think so?” 

“Ces this is unexpected and may conflict with your personal plans. I don’t want you to feel you are stuck with me against your will.” 

“You’ve got no idea how much I adore you, that is why you are letting these thoughts creep into your head.” 

Halles shook her head. “I’ve always done things alone and in my own way but the truth is, it feels so good to have you in my corner. I trust you, Cole, but sometimes, the insecurities slip in.” 

“Thank you for letting me know how you truly feel. It is not your fault for feeling this way. I was an asshole back then but I am here to stay. I will keep saying that until your heart gets tired of hearing it.” 

“I’ve always loved you so much but you totally won my heart when I got to know about Enzo and Ollie. And hearing this news just warms my heart even more. It makes me want to be a better person and protect you all with all that I’ve got.” 

“I know we are going to have our hands full but I’m not scared.” He shook his head. “Having you by my side gives me so much confidence that we would do just fine and I promise you that today has made it to my list of happiest days.” 

“Thank you for letting us find out together. It means so much to me.” 

Hailey smiled, nodding. 

Cole took a glance at her belly, then back at her face. “When Will you start to show?” He pouted. 

Hailey couldn’t help with the laughter that escaped her lips. She tiptoed and kissed Cole’s pouty lips. 

“In a hurry?” 

Cole smiled in embarrassment. “I’m sorry. I know we just found out. I think I just got overly excited.” 

Hailey smiled. “It’s fine. Hearing you say so gives me so much confidence that you want this as much as I do.” She reached for his hand and placed it on her flat belly. 

“When did we start having sex?” She asked him and he blushed harder. “A couple of weeks back.” He whispered. 

“It means our munchkin is just a few weeks old. And it is going to take a while for me to start showing. Maybe 3 to 4 months.” 

“I look forward to that. I feel so excited thinking about it.” 

“Yeah! Hopefully, you will still like me when get bigger.” 

“Get bigger?” 

“Yes, when I look like a whale.”

Cole chuckled. “Don’t say that! You are carrying a child.” 

Halley rolled her eyes. “We are going to see about that.” 

“It’s crazy to think that I am going to be a mother of three kids. I almost cannot believe it.” 

“You think so?” 

Hailey frowned. “What do you mean?” 

Cole grinned. “We could be having twins.” 

Hailey playfully hit his chest. “No way!” 

Cole chuckled. “Why?” 

“It’s just one baby. I can feel it.” 

“We agreed on 6.” 

“You know what?” Hailes folded her arms. “Just make it 12 but there is no way you are having them with me.” 

“Don’t be silly.” He snuck his arms around her waist possessively. “I don’t want to have babies with anyone else. This is just me airing my 

thoughts that I wouldn’t mind if we are expecting twins or triplets.” 

Hailey chuckled. “You’ve forgotten we also have companies and lots of investments to run?” 

Cole shrugged. “We will do them all together.” 

“I think we should take it step by step. Let’s have this one first, then we will decide where to go from there.” 

Cole nodded. “So What’s going to be the next step?”
