Theodore and Rosalie sat in the living room as the butler carried Steve away. Rosalie wanted to talk to Theodore alone.
But they remained silent as they sat opposite each other, none of them saying a word.
Rosalie was the first to speak up. "Theo, you've taken really good care of Steve. Thank you."
Theodore leaned back on the couch and said plainly, "There's no need for you to thank me. I'm just doing what a father should do."
"Theo, what have you been busy with these few days?"
"Nothing much, just work stuff."
"Even if you're busy with work, you should get enough rest and not tire yourself out too much."
Theodore nodded. "I know. You and Justin…"
"Everything is well between us, don't worry."
"Did he bully you?"
"Of course not," Rosalie said with a smile. "If he did, I'll definitely tell you."
She thought saying that might make Theodore feel a little better.
Theodore nodded. "If he bullied you, you must tell me and I'll go to him immediately."
Rosalie nodded. "He won't. Look, Theo. Even though we're not together, we co-parent and share the responsibility of taking care of Steve. We'll also see each other a lot and can spend time chatting with each other harmoniously. Isn't that great?"
Many couples behave like enemies after divorce, swearing never to see each other again and filled with hatred for each other.
She and Theodore were considered fortunate to end up like this, still able to talk peacefully with each other.
They had built a strong relationship foundation over the years, after all. Even without love, they had kinship between them. They would never look at each other with animosity, as though they were enemies.
"Rose, I…" Theodore wanted to say something, but his throat was so hoarse, he couldn't speak a word.
Eventually, he smiled and said, "You're right. It's good enough to be able to see you. What else could I ask for? At least you left me with the child."
"Theo, one day, you'll find a woman you truly love…"

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Why aren't u updating......
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
