Sydney couldn’t figure out why Sebastian made this decision.
Even in considering his own self-interest, terminating the pregnancy would only be beneficial for Sebastian. The baby wasn’t his, after all.
She couldn’t figure out why Sebastian wanted to take such a huge risk to protect Rosalie’s baby.
He should have chosen to terminate the pregnancy without any hesitation!
That baby was Theodore’s, not his!
Sebastian rubbed his face, his eyes cold. If Sydney weren’t a woman, he would have punched her in the face.
Sydney grabbed his collar, and yelled, “Are you trying to kill Rose?! You claim to love her, but you’re killing her! Is the baby in her womb yours? It’s not your baby, so what are you doing protecting it?”
Sebastian grabbed Sydney’s hand, and flung it away hard.
“You won’t ever understand. I don’t want to explain things to you. Stop raising a ruckus here!”
He was in excruciating pain making this decision, which was done in consideration of Rosalie.
Otherwise, did Sydney really think that he wanted to make such a cruel decision? Rosalie was his lifeline!
If the baby didn’t survive, Rosalie would certainly not want to live as well.
Protecting the baby was akin to protecting Rosalie. How would this woman understand?
“Good on you, Sebastian Carter. You clearly want Rose to die. Are you worried she’ll take your assets?!”
Sydney slapped him with all her might again.
Sebastian’s cheek was swelling up fast.
He glared at her, fire burning in his eyes. He should be teaching this woman a good lesson, but somehow, he couldn’t bring himself to do it.

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
