Painful screams of a woman sounded from the delivery room.
"Take a deep breath! The baby is almost out, you're almost there!"
"Ahh!"
Rosalie felt a heart-wrenching pain that tormented every bone and sinew in her body. She shut her eyes tight, her pale face twisting with pain and forehead beading with sweat.
"Rose." Sebastian insisted on staying by her side. He couldn't possibly leave her all alone at a time like this.
Rosalie held Sebastian's hand tight, almost forcefully. Sebastian's fingers hurt from how hard she was grabbing his hand, but he bore with the pain.
That minor pain was nothing compared to the pain Rosalie was experiencing as she gave birth.
"Ahh!"
Rosalie opened her mouth wide, panting as she took in big gulps of air.
The doctor continued encouraging her.
However, the baby's head was stuck, requiring tools to pull the baby out.
Rosalie was in such pain she was on the verge of passing out.
"Rose, the baby is almost out. Hang in there!"
Rosalie turned around, her eyes glazing over and her mind in a daze, as if she couldn't recognize the man standing before her.
Suddenly, Rosalie burst out crying. "Theo, where are you?"
The mention of Theodore made Sebastian's face stiffen up. He stared at Rosalie in silence for a long while.
It was only when Rosalie screamed in pain again that Sebastian grabbed her hand and comforted her. "I'm here, I'm right here."
No matter who Rosalie thought he was, it didn't matter as long as it made her feel better. He would think about it after she delivered the baby.
How could he bear to blame her when she was in such pain right now?
Theodore was the only one to blame for constantly haunting them.
"Theo!" Rosalie cried out Theodore's name through sobs. "I'm in so much pain, Theo."
Sebastian shut his eyes in pain as he kissed her fingers.
Rosalie turned around to look at Sebastian. When she saw the grim look on Sebastian's face, Rosalie asked in confusion, "Theo, what's the matter? Are you not happy? He's your son, are you…"
Rosalie's body started convulsing.
"Rose! What's the matter?!" Sebastian asked anxiously.
The doctor walked over, and carried Rosalie's baby away. He told Sebastian, "Mrs. Carter is having a seizure. Please excuse us for a moment."
A nurse pushed Sebastian out of the ward. The door was shut right before him.
Sebastian started pacing back and forth out of anxiety.
"Rose, please be okay."
'Theo,' he thought, 'this is all your fault. If it weren't for you, Rose wouldn't be suffering right now! It's all your fault!'

After over ten hours later, Rosalie opened her eyes and actually saw Theodore right by her side. Tears fell down her cheeks in an instant.
She opened her mouth, and asked hoarsely, "Theo, what are you doing here?"

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Why aren't u updating......
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
