Theodore sat by her bedside, lifted her hand, and caressed her cheeks, looking at Rosalie tenderly. "Silly, why didn't you tell me about it earlier?"
"I'm sorry, Theo. I thought you wouldn't have wanted the child, so I didn't dare tell you about it."
"Rose, I should be the one apologizing for making you suffer. Don't worry, I won't ever leave you from now on. Our little family of three will never be apart."
Theodore bent over and kissed Rosalie's lips ever so gently before wrapping her up in his arms.
When Rosalie heard Theodore mention their family of three, she suddenly opened her eyes and woke up abruptly.
"Rose, you're finally awake."
Sebastian had been by Rosalie's side all along. He was so glad and relieved to see her finally waking up. "Do you feel unwell anywhere?"
Rosalie realized that it was Sebastian by her bedside.
She stared at the ceiling as she returned to reality. She was dreaming just now, thinking that she really saw Theodore just now.
Perhaps she had such a vivid dream because she had just given birth.
Things were clearly over between her and Theodore. How could they possibly be a family of three?
Upon seeing Rosalie in a daze, Sebastian felt worried again. "Rose, how are you feeling?"
Rosalie's throat hurt. She turned around, her eyes glistening with tears, as she called out morosely to Sebastian. "Seb."
"I'm here. Talk to me. I'll always be by your side."
She was finally calling his name.
"How's the baby?" Rosalie asked.
"The baby's doing great," Sebastian assured her as he wiped her tears away.
"I want… I want to see him. Can you bring me to him?" Rosalie tried to get out of bed as she spoke.
"Don't," Sebastian said as he gently pressed her back down on the bed. "Rose, you can't get out of bed right now. You need a lot of rest. I'll bring the baby to you, alright?"
It definitely felt comforting having someone by her side during the delivery.
"I'm your husband. Of course I'll be by your side. It's my duty," Sebastian remarked as he gently ran his fingers through Rosalie's long hair. "Rose, you and the baby are my responsibilities. I'll never leave the both of you."
Rosalie felt tears welling up in her eyes.
"Don't cry," Sebastian said, reaching out to wipe her tears away. "You just gave birth, so it's not good for you to be crying. Don't cry. See, both you and the baby are safe and sound. The baby's doing great, you should be glad for that."
Rosalie nodded. "You're right. I should be glad."
She kissed her baby's forehead. "Mommy can finally see you now."
She was filled with the joy of being a new mother.
No matter how tough the journey had been, Rosalie found it all worth it the moment her gaze landed on her baby.
"Oh yes, Seb," Rosalie said, suddenly remembering something. "Have you thought of a name for the baby?"

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Why aren't u updating......
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
