Savannah's POV

I looked at the sky and sighed. Rosis's words flashing in my mind again and again. I don't know how to react on this matter nor I know how true the story is but one thing is sure that the event really happened. Is this why Hardwick was hesitating to tell me the truth? Because he was deeply involved in this matter? But I am his mate and he can't hide it from me forever especially when the past is knocking hard trying to barge inside in our present life. I don't know how long it will take him to return but I really want him here with me. I want to ask him about it to confirm myself and to know how much of a true story it was.

"Mistress"

I was pulled back to earth when Luina's voice rang in my ear "what?"

"This is your dress. '' She put the violet-colored silk dress on the bed. Only then I realised that I was still in my bathrobe.

"Thanks Luina" I said before picking it up.

"It's my pleasure Mistress"

After dressing up I walk towards the dining area to have my coffee. Just as I walked inside I saw Jenny. I was about to greet her but something caught my eyes.

"Hi Jenny" I greeted as I walked towards her.

She turned around and smiled "good morning Mistress" . She placed the new flower pot on the table.

"You look beautiful," I said as I sat down.

"I....I will bring your coffee" she almost ran away. I chuckled as I looked at her running back. Looks like something really happened. I tapped on the table as I waited for her to come back.

"Here Mistress" Jenny placed the coffee cup on the table. The cup was still hot and I could see the steams.

"You look so happy today. What happened?"

"Um....nothing"

I looked at her up and down and then smiled "this shirt looks good on you but don't you think it's oversized?"

Jenny gasped "uh....this ..." She looked down on her body then suddenly a blush appeared on her cheek staining her skin in pink light.

I raised my eyebrows as I looked at her closely. It's clear that the shirt she was wearing is a man's shirt. But looking at her posture looks like she had a good steamy night. There's also a biting mark on her neck. But who is he?

Ryan's smirking face flashed in my mind. I shook my head. Hardwick said they don't have any connections. Is it really true or is he also unaware of the fact?

"There you are, why did you leave the bed leaving me alo-" the manly voice stopped in middle.

I looked up and gave a smile "Good morning, I was not expecting you to be here in the pack Ryan"

"Ah.... Luna, are you here too?" Ryan walked in with an awkward smile.

"Uh... I am here to grab my morning coffee" I replied as I sipped on my coffee. "Well I must say You really did have good choice Ryan"

"Choice about what?" He frowned.

"Shirt" I smiled "specially the one Jenny is wearing right now"

Ryan's eyes raked on Jenny who was standing at the side blushing from head to toe.

"You two are mates?" I asked.

"Um....yes" Ryan ruffled his hair.

"And I guess Hardwick also has no idea about it?"

"That ....." Ryan looked at Jenny.

"Okay, let it be. Tell me why are you two hiding it from everyone?"

Both of them looked at me. Ryan sat down on the chair across from me while he pulled Jenny with him. Jenny looked nervous while Ryan looked careless.

"Well?" I started looking at them waiting for answers.

"I wanted to tell everyone when I found out she is my mate" Ryan smiled and hold Jenny's hand "but I guess my playing ways came between us"

"Jenny rejected you?" I asked.

"What ...no no....." He shook his head "that's not what I mean. I wanted to announce publicly but Jenny started to avoid me when she found me as her mate" he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Oh, when did you discover the bond?" I asked again.

"3 months ago. Jenny's wolf is quite weak compared to the others in the pack so it took time to form the bond and recognise each other as mates" Ryan replied.

I nodded "So you both were avoiding each other for a long time then what happened last night?"

Jenny blushed again, making me laugh inwardly. I still couldn't believe that this shy girl really had a way with her mate. But of course I am happy for her.

"I had enough of the distance" Ryan laughed then glanced at Jenny. There was a hidden adoration shining in his eyes.

Finally the forever playboy finally met his mate. He really looked smitten already.

"Since you got your mate, I think you should stop fooling around"

"Haha ..." Ryan laughed "don't worry Luna. That's not going to happen. It was all one night stands. Afterall" he threw his arm around Jenny who looked up glaring at him.

These two. I shook my head.

"Anyways, where's Hardwick?" I asked Ryan.

"He is busy," he smiled.

"I know that. I just want to know when he is going to return"

"I don't know exactly. I was here in the pack to get some files and I need to head back by afternoon"

"What kind of problem do you guys have that's making you so busy that it's making you unable to give a call or message?" I asked, getting annoyed.

"Don't worry Luna, it will get over soon. If the matter was not serious then Alpha wouldn't be working hard to handle like this" this time all the playfulness of Ryan vanished and his face turned serious. It's like he was trying hard to persuade me not to take Hardwick in the wrong way for his absence.

I sighed "I am doubting him. It's just I couldn't see him so I am worried"
