Savannah's POV

"Oh my god, I still can't believe you are here" Tanea hugged me tightly as she squealed. I laughed and hugged her back.

"I had to. I really can't miss such a big day"

"Sure enough. It's been so long since I met you. Besides, days here are too boring without you" she pouted.

"Why?" I raised my eyebrows "doesn't my brother keep you company?"

"Don't talk about that man" Tanea rolled her eyes "these days he seems so busy that he hardly makes any time for me. I am still in shock to see his suddenly changed behaviour"

"Wow, looks like Dev is changed huh"

"Exactly so" she nodded her head.

"Savannah"

I turned around and grinned "mom". I almost ran to her. I missed her so much that it brought tears to my eyes.

"What happened sweety? You are crying?" Mom pulled back when she heard me sobbing.

I chuckled "nothing, I am just too happy"

She laughed, "silly girl. Since when did you start to become this emotional?" She patted my shoulder with a warm smile.

"Maybe after I started to live separately" I joked and mom laughed again.

"Let's go inside. Your dad is waiting for you. He was so excited when he heard you will be coming here"

I nodded and we walked inside the pack house. After so many days it felt like a home again. My family, my loved ones that I missed so terribly. I looked around the familiar decoration and my heart felt content.

"You are here my princess" dad was sitting on the couch and got up immediately when he saw me.

"Dad" I smiled widely as I threw my arms around him.

"I missed you so much darling" he kissed my temple.

"I missed you too dad" I hugged him tightly before releasing him.

"I am glad you are here"

I nodded and looked around "where's Dev? I haven't seen him since I arrived"

"Looking for me" a voice said from behind. I turned around and saw my brother standing there in his glory.

"Dev" I smiled and ran towards him. He hoisted me up and twirled me around, making me giggle.

"How are you?" He asked once he put me down.

"I am good" he nodded then looked around "where's that mate of yours?"

"You are still against him?" I shook my head.

"I couldn't help. I don't trust that man" he frowned.

"Speaking of him, where is Hardwick?" Dad asked.

"Hmm....he went out a few days ago because of some urgent matter. He was so busy these days that I couldn't even see him" I explained.

"Oh, so he is not here" Dev mumbled to himself.

I rolled my eyes "no, and he don't know that I am here"

"It's fine. Besides, Alpha's do have major responsibilities to take over and sometimes they couldn't ignore it no matter what" mom said as she walked towards me. "You must be tired from the journey. Go first and rest for a while. Besides the ceremony will start soon"

I nodded "okay"

"Let me walk you to your room" Tanea grabbed my bag and led me towards my room.

"I am glad you are here Sav. I feel lonely when Dev is busy with his work. Since dad decided to give the pack responsibility to him, he became more busy" Tanea said as she placed the bag on the bed.

"Everything will be fine. Besides I am having the same problem you know. Hardwick seems so busy with his work that I couldn't even meet him for several days" I smiled at her.

"Are you happy Sav?" Suddenly Tanea asked.

I looked at her and pursed my lips. Sighing I nodded "it's not that I am not happy. But Dark Forest is still like a mystery to me. Sometimes it felt like stranger to me"

"Sav, this kind of feeling ...it happens. Because I have experienced the same thing. You just need time to relax yourself in the pack. And Hardwick is also there isn't it?" Tanea patted my hand.

I nodded "yeah. But there's so many things that made me confused and I couldn't decide what to do. It's hardin every way" I sighed.

"Problems are always like this. But you need to believe in yourself and your heart, you know. And you also need to believe in your mate. If there's something you can't understand then ask him freely instead of hiding it from him. I know he cares for you so I think it's better if you have good talk with him"

I smiled at her "thanks for the suggestion"

"Now, get freshen up and take a good rest before the ceremony starts"

I nodded and watched her leaving. I sighed and unpacked my bag and pulled out a dress to get ready. I left the pack in a hurry and only Luina knew where I was going. I don't know when Hardwick will be back. I hope everything goes fine. Shaking my head I grabbed a towel and headed towards the bathroom to take a shower and relax my body from the tiredness of the journey.

Few hours later it was finally the time we all have been waiting for. I walked towards Tanea's room and smiled when I saw her. There were two more girls with her who were helping her to get ready. Tanea was looking beautiful in her silk white A- line dress which was hugging her body showing her beautiful curves. The two girls beside her really did well. From the makeup to her hair style.

"Wow, someone's looking so beautiful" I said as I walked in.

"You are flattering me" Tanea blushed.

"Hmm... Though everything seems beautiful but there's still something missing"

Tanea frowned "is there?" She looked at the mirror. Even the two girls beside her frowned.

"What's lacking? Oh my God, today is a big day and I can't really miss" Tanea gasped. I chuckled at her reaction.

"You are taking it in serious way" I shook my head and pulled out a box "here"

"What's this?" Tanea looked at the box then to me.

"Something that will make you complete"

"Yeah?" Tanea took the box and opened it. She gasped as she looked at the shining diamond.

It was a flower crown which was made from fine white diamond. The crown will match her dress and also the ceremony.

"It's so beautiful" Tanea smiled "thanks Sav"

"Come on, wear it. Dev and others are already waiting for you"
