With a slap in the face of Janet, Viola made Janet’s face swollen with redness, which stunned Janet.

Instantly the whole hall fell silent.

Viola withdrew her hand and looked at Janet coldly, “You're just a big mouth like your mother. Do you think I am stupid as your father Myles Sutton? If you don't want your tongue, I'll pull it out!”

Janet burst out into tears, with her lips trembling.

“Tut, crying again? What a bitch.” Viola sneered, “But your mother was a bitch too. She got into your father’s bed and got pregnant, so that she could marry into the family. Well, you now learn from your mother, good for you!”

Hearing that, the “stupid” Myles Sutton and the “bitch” Amity Hawkins looked embarrassed, but they didn't dare stand up and say a word for people present were big figures.

Looking at their black faces, Viola felt super comfortable!

But that was not enough!

For what her mother had suffered, and what she had suffered for the past twenty-five years, she must let the Sutton family and the Chambers family pay a terrible price!

Janet cried silently holding her face, looking pitiful, which made the onlookers felt compassionate.

But now she heard her mother was humiliated, Janet could not stand it and seized the hand of Viola.

She said with tears in her eyes, “Sister, don't talk like that. Mom treated you well as you were her child, sometimes I was jealous of you. Even if you are impulsive, you hurt Mom's heart and let her down!”

This was the funniest joke Viola had ever heard.

Since her mother disappeared and Amity married into the family, she had a hard time in the Sutton family. She often got beaten and no food, and she even had a life worse than a poor old nag!

Viola grabbed her collar and curled up the corner of her mouth, “Janet, is there a problem in your brain?”

“Viola! Leave her alone!” Standing on the side, Eric, who had been always silent, finally opened his mouth.

He had been enduring it for there was a special figure presented. But now, he could not endure it any more.

He stepped forward to protect Janet in his arms. Turning his head, he shouted at Viola, “You are a slut who has slept with a dozen of men! Everybody knew three years ago that you were horny to be with any man you met! How dare you come and smear Janet and her parents?!”
