Viola pulled her hand back and looked at the three one by one, finally focusing on Amity's tear-stained face.
That was what Amity’s plan.
Viola lifted her eyelids and raised the corners of her mouth. “You scare me. Why are you suddenly good to me? Are you going to let Janet hold back the anger or honor me, the thorn in your eyes?”
Amity's lip shivered, and she did not know what to say, seeing that Viola was straightforward.
Janet got up, came to the sofa, lowered her head to Viola pitifully, “Sister, don't put the words so harsh. Mom and Dad are old and they don’t want you to live alone outside, with no one to take care of you. It was my fault that I did harm to you, can you forgive me?”
Janet’s attitude surprised Viola.
Well, she got well prepared.
Unfortunately, Viola did not believe her.
Viola ignored Amity, pulled Janet over and sat down with a happy smile, “Since you said so, how can I say no? I can live at home actually.”
Janet's eyes were shining, “Really?”
Viola was sincere, “Sure, sure, however, I am uncomfortable about what happened before. If you post a statement, admitting that you did steal Eric from me, I will move back.”
