Maja’s back went suddenly stiff, her original plan was to use her phone to light up the room and pick up the broken porcelain. 

But when she heard lan’s voice, she was momentarily stunned.

She held her phone tightly, feeling her face getting hotter. 

They could only see each other’s silhouette, and because Maja deliberately avoided him, lan couldn’t see clearly. 

“Oh, no phone?” His tone was calm, not angry, but it was like a slap in Maja’s face.. 

Maja regretted it, she didn’t know how to respond to lan’s words, she kept her head down and wanted to leave.
