Dear Ex-wife Marry Me novel (Maja) novel Chapter 1697

Nathan clapped Felix on the back, "Just suck it up and hit the sack with her, man. I'm actually green with envy here. Stop talking; you're making my heart sour, dude. If Carol was here right now, I wouldn't hesitate for a second, not with that face of hers."

He had seen Carol before, strutting through the bustling downtown malls with bodyguards in tow, snapping up designer labels without batting an eyelid.

Felix lit another cigarette, seemingly making up his mind about something.

"You know there's a little blue pill that can help a guy get it up on command?"

Nathan was mid-sip of his water when he heard this and nearly spat it out.

"You need that sort of help?"

"Yeah, I do."

"Felix, don't tell me you've got some kind of issue?"

"No issue. It's just with her, nothing happens."

A wry smile played on his lips as he said this, clearly not seeing Carol as a woman with any allure to him.

Whether Carol was attractive or not wasn't his concern.

"Sure, there's that kind of medicine. Got to know quite a few doctors because of Listina's situation. If you want it, I can hook you up, but you know there are side effects, right? It can make you feel wiped out. Are you sure you want to go down that road? It's not every day you see a guy who can't get it up for a beauty. Carol is the Miller heiress. She'd be heartbroken if she knew."

Felix couldn't even be bothered to reply. If it wasn't for Listina.

His gaze dropped, his voice flat, "Just get me a bottle, but disguise it in a vitamin jar."

Nathan continued sipping his water, cursing under his breath, "If I were Carol, I'd be devastated to find out the truth. She's all over you, and you're setting her up like this."

Felix didn't respond, just closed his eyes, hearing Nathan gossip further.

"Have you and Listina never...?"

"I wouldn't dream of it."

Love and indifference – worlds apart.

Nathan was taken aback, unsure whether to label him a heartbreaker or a true romantic.

"What a shame, giving up your virginity to Carol. That's a loss."
