Dear Ex-wife Marry Me novel (Maja) novel Chapter 210

 Chapter 210

His posture was elegant, looking incredibly noble under the overhead lights “Maja, it’s getting late. Don’t you think you should call your husband?”

When that man’s phone rings later, she’ll know she’s been played for a fool

lan isn’t one to meddle in other people’s business, but seeing as he’s already witnessed it, he can’t pretend he didn’t.

She’s calm and firm when it comes to work, but when it comes to emotions, she’s like a baby in the woods.

Especially since Maja looked completely oblivious, which made him feel a bit uneasy.

“No need he’s probably working late.”

Yeah, he’s working late kissing someone else.

lan lowered his eyes; this was also the first time he had encountered such a thing.

He didn’t say anything else, just looked out the window.

“Let’s head home after we’re done eating.”

Maja noticed that he hadn’t touched his food at all. So she knew that the food wasn’t to his liking.

She didn’t try to persuade him to eat anymore because she was hungry.

After forcing down a few bites, she got up to pay

lan saw that the two were not far from the cashier. If Maja went over there, she would see them.

He didn’t stop her, just watched quietly.

But when Maja got up, she walked straight past the two. She confirmed the bill with the waiter and then walked straight back.

“Mr. Raymond, I can just grab a cab.”

She came here in lan’s car. This place is in the city center and close to everywhere.

She planned to come back after lan went to bed. Then she will drive to Crystalbrook Valley after lan leaves in the morning.

lan remained seated, watching her with a puzzled expression.

But he didn’t expose the truth. Instead, he got up and left with her.

As he got in the car, he couldn’t help but ask

“Your husband is often away on business, don’t you ever get suspicious?”

This was a clear hint that there might be something fishy about her husband. She would know the truth if she were just a bit more vigilant.

After all, she made it into the Arcadia School of Modern Art, she’s definitely no fool

But Maja just nodded lightly “Mr. Raymond, I trust my husband completely. All the men in the world might cheat, but he definitely won’t.”

lan looked up to see her so-called trustworthy husband getting into a Mercedes with a woman.
