"Tyler, how long are you going to play this time? Let's make a bet. This woman who's supposedly chasing you, she's just trying to get your attention. Give it two months tops, and she'll be gone if she doesn't see any response from you."
Tyler stubbed out his cigarette in the ashtray beside him. "I agree. She's not as clever as she thinks she is," he replied before hanging up the phone.
Just as he put his phone down, he turned to see Athena standing in the doorway. He had no idea how long she had been there. Freshly showered, Athena looked like a ripe peach, ready to be devoured.
Tyler swallowed hard, turned off the lights, and moved into the room. Athena wasn’t sure what he was up to until he picked her up and tossed her onto the bed.
"Tyler?" she questioned nervously.
Ignoring her protests, Tyler pinned her down, making her blush furiously as she tried in vain to push him away.
Eventually, after much pleading, he finally relented, pulling her into his arms. Athena lay there trembling, her forehead damp with sweat, clutching the sheets beneath her. Tyler had always joked about not liking to kiss, but he had kissed plenty of women—just never like this.
Athena must have thought he was softening, but in true Tyler fashion, he released her the next moment. "I'll have someone drive you home," he said nonchalantly.
Athena felt like she'd been dropped from cloud nine. She said nothing, though, only struggled to dress with shaky legs.
Tyler, meanwhile, sat on the bed scrolling through his phone, not even bothering to watch her leave. He never let women stay the night, especially in his own villa.
A car was waiting outside to take Athena home. Her disheveled state made it obvious what had transpired. It took her an hour to get back to her place, which was a good forty-minute drive from Tyler’s villa. She realized she’d have to head out earlier next time if she planned to cook for him.
Tyler replied to a few texts from his buddies and then shut off the lights. Before falling asleep, he thought about his night with Athena. He usually wasn't into this kind of thing, but this time he couldn’t resist. Her taste was intoxicating, despite her rather unlikable personality.

The readers' comments on the novel: Dear Ex-wife Marry Me novel (Maja)
Author, would you story about Ryan settling down and another story on Eric regaining his body and memories back from Patrick, and Eric also settling down as I find it so disheartening for him to have gone through what he went through at the research institute, and I'll like for him to get his "golden boy" life back though, not at the detriment of Ian....
When will the author update to finish Beck's story? What about Dylan and Tyler's love lives? Also, I'll like the author to write on Wilma and Elvis ending up together as she was quite persistent in pursuing him. And Shawn's story, Cornelia Sullivan and Omar Casson. Also, a little write-up on Jeff (Ian's assistant) love life, too. Thanks, author for updating....
When will get update?...
