Maja set aside her purchases, gave Coco’s head a good rub, and then headed back to Rosewood Manor. 

Maria seemed to know Maja would be back tonight, asking if she wanted a late–night snack.

Maja shook her head. She wasn’t feeling peckish.

After drinking the milk, Maja went to the bathroom.
