Chapter 492 

He grabbed the shower head off to the side, dousing her hair, pulling her close against his chest, and then started washing her hair. 

Maja was so tired, she could barely keep her eyes open, and in her half–conscious state, she was a bit pissed at him, but once she fell asleep, she was oblivious to his gentleness. 

lan had never washed anyone’s hair before, so he was a bit clumsy. He squeezed the shampoo bottle several times before beginning to gently massage her hair. 

The shampoo lathered up quickly, and he was careful not to hurt her with his touch, 

He massaged her scalp for about half an hour, making sure her hair was clean, before he picked up the shower head again to rinse off the foam. 

Maja remained asleep, her body sprawled out on his chest. 

After washing her hair, lan picked her up and sat her down on a chair nearby. 

She was so deep in sleep that she couldn’t help but slide down the chair. 

With no other choice, he sat down on the chair himself, letting her lie in his lap as he used a blow dryer to dry her hair. 

Even the best blow dryers mase noise, and it’s not exactly quiet. 

Maja was sleeping peacefully, but she was vaguely aware of a buzzing noise next to her ear 

“Annoying 

Her voice was hoarse, and she waved her hand impatiently. 

lan had once slept with wet hair while he was abroad and ended up with a headache that lasted for two days. 

So when Maja didn’t want to blow dry her hair, he frowned and said, “Stay still.” 

Sure enough, Maja didn’t move and fell back asleep in his arms. 

Even though she had short hair, it was thick and soft. lan spent over twenty minutes blow–drying her hair 

After carrying her into the bedroom, he checked her lower body to make sure she wasn’t injured, then picked up a blanket from the side to cover her 

By the time he had finished all this, it was already eight in the morning. He was way past the time he should have been at work. 

Just then, Tyler gave him a call. 

“Penny just left last night, and you took off right after. I heard that the private room at the corner of the hallway was rocking for four hours.” 

lan smirked, “Buzz off.” 

For some reason, Tyler had a feeling that lan’s mood had improved a lot. 

“If you really like her, don’t torture her. Women need to be pampered.” 

I don’t like her.” 

lan answered quickly 

Tyler knew lan was being stubborn. This was the first time tan had been so stubborn about a love affair 

“If you don’t like her, why would you do those things with her in the private room? If someone had told me before that lan, the guy who doesn’t care about women, would be fooling around with a woman in a private room, I would never have believed it.” 

“I’m just not tired of her? 

‘Sure, sure. You were not tired of her, so you went and shared the same meal with someone else” 

lan hung up the call and put out the cigarette in his fingers. 

Then Jeff called, carefully asking him why he hadn’t shown up at the office 

fan, the workaholic, hadn’t gone to work today. 

He hadn’t made love to her for more than a week, and this time, he got a bit out of control. 

“Have the documents sent to the hotel. I’ll work from here today.” 

Jeff immediately had the documents sent to the hotel. 

When he arrived, lan had already taken a shower and changed his clothes. 

Jeff had a hunch that there was someone in the bedroom. 

But he didn’t ask, instead, he brought a gift that was left in the office. 

Tan took the gift, thinking he could give it to Penny when she woke up. 

Jeff placed the documents on the table and left 

tan worked until the evening, when he heard noises from the bedroom and knew she was awake
