Meetman’s eyes were bloodshot from rage. 

Maja, holding the contract, stood up and said, “Meetman, never forget the insult Harden threw at you.” 

“How could I forget!” Meetman got so worked up that he started coughing. 

Maja looked around; her nostrils filled with the smell of booze..

Harden was taken aback. Maja really didn’t care about Neil’s ashes?

Harden was fuming, gritting her teeth while Laura’s parents kept on threatening. 

“If Laura is convicted, your photos with your assistant will be leaked. So, you better find a way to get Laura out.” 

Harden once brought her lover to the Tuttle family party and got photographed. 

She took a deep breath, and said again to Maja on the other end of the phone, “Ms. Penny feather, can we meet and talk?” 

Maja flatly refused. 

She wanted Harden to panic. The more panicked she was, the more likely she would slip up. 

Seeing that she was hung up on, Harden slammed her hand on the table in fury, 

“That bitch!”

Meetman had cleaned himself up by then and had shaved off his beard. 

He had a long cut on his chin, probably got distracted while shaving. 

“This is a bug. Modern tech is pretty advanced, it can be implanted into your arm, so we need to take you in for surgery.”
