The doctor was stumped, as the test results did show no problems. 

“Perhaps you have a crush on this lady, which makes you nervous,” he suggested. 

lan’s face turned frosty immediately. 

He thought the doctor was incompetent. 

Without a word, he strode out of the room, bumping into Phelps who was waiting outside. 

Phelps gave lan a once–over, asking. “How did it go?” 

lan ignored him, walking straight past him and leaving. 

Only then did Phelps remember that lan had memory issues and probably had no idea who he was. 

Phelps then entered the room and asked the doctor, 

“Is there something wrong with him?” 

“Except for some after–effects in his head, he’s quite healthy.” 

Phelps was skeptical. If lan took the trouble to come to the hospital, he must be feeling unwell. 

“What are his symptoms?” 

The doctor hesitated for a few seconds before answering. 

“Dr. Herrington, his symptoms are eerily similar to those of being in love. Rapid heartbeat, sweaty palms due to nervousness, and possible dizziness from excessive excitement.” 

Phelps raised an eyebrow, chuckling, “Did lan really say that?“) 

“Mr. Raymond just walked out, he probably didn’t buy it.” 

It was unbelievable. Wasn’t love the most common emotion? 

How come lan didn’t even understand that? 

At this moment, lan had already left the hospital. The cold wind outside made him feel much better. 

He took out a cigarette to smoke, but his body was still immersed in the intimacy he had just shared with Maja. 

He frowned.

“Zoey, have someone from the company look into Nolan’s reputation at school. Preferably from within the student body, to get a more accurate picture. Also, how’s Meetman doing?” 

“Meetman is doing much better now, but he’s still living in that alley. He doesn’t have the money to move elsewhere just yet.” 

Maja furrowed her brows. 

If she was going to cultivate her own people, the first step would be to sort out their living situation. 

“These are the documents needed for tomorrow. Recently, our people have been hanging around the Skyrim Film Academy looking for scripts, but they haven’t found anything satisfactory.” 

“Pull them back for now and have them investigate Nolan,” 

Even though the Star Movie Group was just starting out, the work was well–distributed, even down to the paparazzi. They were there to dig up some dirt. 

Most of the people in the company were split from the original Pennyfeather Group. Now that they had entered the film industry, they were all excited and eager to work. After all, gossiping was a common human trait, and they enjoyed their jobs.
