But lan wasn’t having any of it, already shrugging off his suit. 

Seeing him ignoring their pleas, everyone was getting antsy. 

lan held a gun, his tone casual.

If he saw the men climbing up and reported to the other kidnappers, none of them on the pipeline would survive. 

Maja’s heart pounded. She quickly crawled out from under the table, deliberately revealing herself to the kidnapper’s sight, and then ran towards the corridor. 

The kidnapper heard her and immediately turned around. 

“Freeze!”
