Dear Ex-wife Marry Me novel (Maja) novel Chapter 835

Chapter 835

Anyone would feel uncomfortable reading these comments about themselves.

But Maja just skimmed through them, confirmed there was no other information, and then laid down to bed

Elsewhere in a bar

A bunch of empty booze bottles had already accumulated in front of lan, his cheeks slightly flushed from drinking. Tyler was singing into a microphone until he noticed that lan had finished off a whole bottle of vodka.

“We invited you out to sing, not to drown yourself in booze.”

Tyler snatched his cup and put it on the table.

“What’s up? Got your heart broken by Maja?”

The comment immediately caught the attention of Fitch and Phelps.

Among them, Phelps had the least time, spending most of his time in the hospital, but he had a rare free night.

lan loosened his collar, looking imitated. “I confessed to her, and she rejected me

Tyler sipped from his glass and asked, “Isn’t that normal? Considering the crap you’ve pulled before, if she had said yes, I’d think she might need to get her head checked by Phelps.

Phelps was wearing a casual white windbreaker

Recalling something from a long time ago, he said, “I remember the Millers asking me to treat her once. Maja had injured her hand, but lan insisted I see Ms. Shepard first. If I had arrived any later, Maja’s hand might have been permanently damaged. I heard she’s an artist?”

At the mention of this, lan’s fingers tensed slightly, and he rubbed his forehead

Tyler took a deep breath.

“Carlene probably knew all along that Penny was Maja and deliberately did this to make Maja resent lan. Looks like it worked, now Maja treats you like garbage” “Who are you calling garbage?”

lan’s tone wasn’t great, but he was starting to think there might be some truth to it. Maja just didn’t like him.

If it weren’t for Phelps reminding him, he would’ve forgotten about the whole thing.

He had done too many bad things in the past.

Tyler downed the rest of his drink

“lan, you’re no Casanova. Your idea of being nice is to buy her things with money, but Maja doesn’t care about that. Remember, she once sued Grandma Edith of the Raymond family. I didn’t know who she was back then, but I thought she was ballsy Besides not being a looker, she had guts. You need to show her that you genuinely care.”

“What do you mean? I gave her half of my properties and she didn’t even bat an eye

“Guess money can’t buy her love. You need to find a way to show her you mean it.”

lan looked at his drink, his profile as sharp as if drawn with charcoal. After a long silence, he said, “It’s no use. No matter what I do, she won’t like me.”

Tyler raised an eyebrow and scoffed. “You don’t seem too into her. If you’re willing to give up that easily, you might fall for any other girl. I can hook you up with some girls, pick one you like. Maybe you’ll find someone you think is right, get to know each other better, and soon find a comfortable companion.”

“She already has someone she likes.”

As lan said this, he poured himself another drink.

“My grandfather told me. I asked Maja, and she didn’t deny it. In her eyes, I’ve always been a villain. I’ve belittled her, hurt her, and even kept her away from the guy she likes.”
