The tone of that speech was obviously Ms. Sanders. 

Maja just ignored the message. 

Since she held 95% of the company’s shares, no one could buy it as long as Maja didn’t want to sell.

She had no idea that Ms. Sanders had already called Beck and was acting all sweet on him. 

“Beck, everyone knows I have a thing for lan. Can you get rid of the woman by his side for me? I’m begging you, Beck. If you disagree, I’ll head to Greenfield right away!” 

Beck felt a headache coming on. 

“Ms. Sanders, just stay put at home. Maybe the person who wrote to you isn’t lan at all.” 

“It is him! I had someone check it out, and it’s his handwriting. He just doesn’t want to admit it.” 

Thinking of Maja, Beck tentatively asked, “What are you planning to do about her?” 

“I can’t stand any woman who appears by lan’s side. Do you think he wants to get back with her? I heard he has a thing for her.” 

“If he did, he wouldn’t have divorced her. His grandpa forced that on him.” 

“Beck, I don’t care! If she’s still by lan’s side in three days, I’m sending Wind to Greenfield. You know Wind has never failed me.” 

With that, she hung up. 

Beck just felt agitated, then dialed up their big brother. 

A few minutes later, a detached male voice came from the other end of the phone. 

“Speak.” 

“Big bro, Ms. Sanders plans to have Wind commit a murder in Greenfield. You’re not going to do something about it?” 

“Who’s the target?” 

“A woman by lan’s side. Ms. Sanders is very interested in lan.” 

The man on the other end of the line was silent for a few seconds, flipping through some files. The sound of paper shuffling could be heard over the phone. 

“Go ask lan, under what circumstances would he marry Ms. Sanders.” 

Beck knew his tolerance for Ms. Sanders was limitless. 

“But lan has a woman he likes now.” 

“Are they married?” 

“No.” 

“Then it doesn’t count. Has Dad mentioned anything to you recently?”

There was silence on the other end of the line for a few seconds before he said, “I think he’s hiding something from us. Go contact Phelps in Greenfield. He works at the hospital. I found out Dad has been doing some shady deals with him.” 

Beck furrowed his brows. 

“Bro, are you investigating Dad?” 

“Beck, just do what I tell you.” 

Beck’s momentum weakened instantly, “Alright.” 

After hanging up, Beck felt extremely annoyed.

If he didn’t get Maja to leave lan, then the Sanders family would come to Greenfield to deal with her. She definitely wouldn’t be able to handle it. 

But would she be willing to leave lan? 

Helplessly, Beck made a personal trip to Star Movie group. 

Maja just happened to run into him while she was on the top floor getting coffee. 

“Mr. Beck.” 

Beck immediately walked into the tea room and gently closed the door.
