"You're always screwing things up! You've let this nasty woman, Darlene, mess with us for so long, just look at all the trouble you've caused!"

Lan’s voice shot up, his chest heaving with anger.
"You mean Coco's former owner is the guy Maja into, right?"
Holden stood up, leaning on his cane, clearly not wanting to get involved any further.
"It's just a guess"

lan found this amusing, so much so that he was having trouble breathing.
His voice trembled. If this were true, it would be so ironic.
He had suffered through his allergies to take Coco to the vet, only to end up in the hospital himself.
He had talked about Coco with Maja, hoping for any kind of response.

He felt so foolish to be bothered by a dog his rival gave to the girl he liked.
lan suddenly felt a surge of pain. His grandpa's words struck him like a bolt of lightning, leaving him numb and speechless.
He remembered how she had called out an unfamiliar name while he was taking care of her in the hospital. He had felt upset and asked her whose name it was, was it her first boyfriend?
She said it was the name of Coco's previous owner.
She cleverly dodged the question without admitting that the man was her first love. She was smart.
When the truth was revealed, his eyes turned cold and deep.

Author, would you story about Ryan settling down and another story on Eric regaining his body and memories back from Patrick, and Eric also settling down as I find it so disheartening for him to have gone through what he went through at the research institute, and I'll like for him to get his "golden boy" life back though, not at the detriment of Ian....
