Dear Ex-Wife Please Be Mine Again (Christina and Alex) novel Chapter 85

Chapter 85

Bianca’s POV

66

I sat back in my plush leather chair, the light of my phone bringing the otherwise dark room. My fingers drummed rhythmically on the armrest as the grainy live footage from the warehouse played on the screen. Christiana, disheveled and clearly shaken, was sitting in that filthy chair her face wet with tears, her defiance etched into every line of her body. The camera had a perfect angle, capturing every moment of her misery

I smirked, tilting my head slightly, savoring the scene in front of me

This is exactly what you deserve, Christiana,I whispered to myself, the satisfaction curling in my chest. She had begged, wept and now, she was fighting back. I admired the fight in her. But in the end, it would all be meaningless. No amount of strength would save her from what was coming. I made sure of that

Watching her in that vulnerable state was intoxicating. Seeing her lose control, seeing the cracks in her confident facade..it was exhilarating. My lips curled into a smile, wide and sinister. Christiana was a woman used to power, influence, having the world at her feet. And now? Now, she was reduced to nothing but a scared little girl. It was poetic

You thought you could just waltz back into Alex’s life, didn’t you?I murmured to the screen, my voice dripping with malice. You thought you could just win him over, get him back with those wide, innocent eyes, pretending to be some perfect little mother to his children?”

I clenched my fist, the anger bubbling up briefly before I let it go, sinking back into the satisfaction of the moment. Alex. The mere thought of him sent a rush of emotions through me, desire, rage, jealousy. He had been mine. Mine. And Christiana had the audacity to think she could step in, like I didn’t exist. I had seen them together at the hotel, spending the night as if they were some kind of happy little family

She made me sick

I narrowed my eyes as the footage shifted, showing one of my men pouring water on her, waking her up from whatever stupor she had fallen inte. Christiana jolted awake, fury blazing in her eyes, but it only made me laugh softly

Oh, now you want to act tough?I sneered, watching as she cursed and shouted at the kidnappers, her voice hoarse but full of rage. Please, Christiana. You’re not fooling anyone.”

My hand tightened around my phone as she started to bargain, offering to triple whatever amount they were paid, claiming her kids needed her. Her voice cracked at the mention of her children, and for a split second, her strength wavered

Pathetic

Triple the amount? Really?” I chuckled darkly, the sound hollow in the room. It’s not about the money, sweetheart. It’s about teaching you a lesson.”

I crossed my legs, the silk of my dress smooth under my fingertips as I leaned forward, my eyes glued to the screen. One of my men finally spoke, telling her they were just following instructions. Her response was immediate, spitting at him, her voice sharp with defiance. It was amusing, really. She still thought she had a chance to escape, still thought her words could sway them. As if they hadn’t been handpicked by me. As if I didn’t control every move they made

You’re in my world now, Christiana,I whispered, my voice cold, No one’s coming to save you.”

I bit my lip, leaning back and resting my phone on the table in front of me. The light flickered across the walls as I smiled to myself. This was only the beginning. Let her scream, let her fight. It would make her downfall all the sweeter

Alex would come running soon enough, desperate, angry, willing to do anything to get her back. And when he did? He’d realize that no matter how hard he tried, no matter what he did, Christiana would be out of his reach. And he would have no choice but to turn to me

Chapter 85

You should’ve stayed away, darling. I whispered, my voice like silk as I swiped the screen to lock my phone, her agor cries still echoing in my ears. But nownow, you’re exactly where I want you.”

I let out a slow, satisfied breath, my fingers tracing the edge of my phone as a wicked smile spread across my lips

Soon, it would all fall apart for her. And I would be there to watch it burn

I reclined back in my chair, my fingers absentmindedly tracing the rim of my wine glass as I watched the screen with a Christiana’s defiance was admirable, but it wouldn’t last. It never did. They always broke in the end

The camera feed flickered as she shouted something at one of the men, her voice echoing through the warehouse. Wh sent you? What do you want from me?she demanded, her eyes blazing with fury, her chest heaving

I couldn’t help but chuckle softly at the desperation creeping into her voice. She was unraveling, piece by piece. Slowly, as I intended

Shout all you want,I muttered to myself, swirling the wine in my glass. No one’s listening, darling.”

The man in the mask stood silent, his stance firm, unyielding, just like I had instructed. Christiana’s patience snapped as clenched her fists, her voice a was of frustration and fear. You cawards! If you’re going to kill me, do it! Stop this stupid game! She was trembling now, her face flushed with

anger

I leaned closer to the screen, my smirk deepening. This was the moment. The shift from anger to desperation, from strength to helplessness. It was intoxicating to watch

Is she begging already?I mused aloud, shaking my head slightly. So much for the strong, independent Christiana.”

Her face, once composed, was now contorted with rage and confusion. The desperation in her eyes was starting to show, s was starting to understand there was no escape. I licked my lips, taking a slow sip from my glass

One of the men finally spoke up, his voice gruff and emotionless We’re just following orders. The simplicity of it was perfect. No explanations, no details. Just the cold, harsh reality

Christiana’s eyes narrowed, and she spat at him. I couldn’t help but laugh at her futile defiance, watching as the spittle landed on the man’s mask. She was trying so hard to be strong, but her boldness was cracking

How much?she barked, her voice trembling slightly now. How much are they paying you? Whatever it is, I’ll triple it! Jus let me go, my children need me!”

I raised an eyebrow, impressed by the lengths she was willing to go. But it wouldn’t matter. Money wasn’t the point. It never

Was

One of the kidnappers turned to her, his mask covering any hint of expression, but his body language screamed indifference. You’re wasting your breath,he said coldly. We don’t care about your money”

Of course, they don’t, sweetheart.I whispered to myself, a smile dancing on my lips. I had made sure of that

Christiana’s face fell for a split second, a crack in her stiff facade, She hadn’t expected that. She always thought she could buy her way out of trouble, didn’t she? The powerful Christiana who always had control. Not today

Tin innocent!she cried out, her voice desperate now, I haven’t done anything to anyone! Please, just let me go!”

I tilted my head, intrigued. There it was, her fear was spilling over. The invincible Christiana was finally breaking. My heart raced with satisfaction as I watched her crumble

The man didn’t respond this time None of them did. I had trained them well

Her hands slook as she covered her face, her shoulders trembling. Please. Her voice dropped to a whisper now, barely audible. My kids they’re waiting for the
