The two were in a stalemate for a while, but Angela finally compromised.

After cleaning up the room, Angela was about to cook. As she opened the refrigerator, the doorbell rang.

The visitor was Jennifer. She went to the hospital to visit Kenneth today, only to learn that Kenneth had been discharged.
