Divorce Clock Ticking (Kenneth and Angela) novel Chapter 65

Angela frowned and said coldly, "Who are you? Why should we go with you?"

"Mr. Sinclair asked us to pick you up, Ms. Lewis."

"Kenneth?"

"Yes."

Surprised, Angela asked again, "He came to Lavinia?"

"Yes, Mr. Sinclair ordered us to take you to see him. I hope you won't embarrass us."

After hesitating for a few seconds, Angela nodded and said, "I can go with you, but Mr. Sinclair needs to ask Dr. Harrison's opinion."

As she finished speaking, Joseph said, "Ms. Lewis, I'll go with you."

"Okay."

They followed the men in black and got into the car. About half an hour later, the car stopped in front of the largest hotel in Lavinia.

After taking Angela and Joseph to the door of the president's suite on the top floor, several men in black left.

Angela knocked on the door, and after waiting for a while, the door opened.

Kevin didn't look surprised to see Angela and Joseph. "Mr. Sinclair is waiting for you inside, Ms. Lewis."

Angela and Joseph were about to walk into the suite, but Kevin stopped Joseph and said, "Please stay here, Mr. Harrison. Mr. Sinclair only wants to see Ms. Lewis now."

Joseph looked at Angela worriedly, but Angela smiled reassuringly, saying, "Don't worry, Dr. Harrison."

After saying that, she looked at Kevin and said, "Dr. Harrison has stomach trouble and hasn't had lunch yet. Could you please ask someone to bring food for him?"

Kevin nodded. "No problem."

Angela pushed the door open and entered the suite. Kenneth sat behind the desk and read the documents. He looked up at her when he heard the sound of the door opening.

The moment he saw Angela, he squinted, put down the documents, and said coldly, "Angela, you are getting bolder. How dare you leave my men and disappear for a week?!"

Angela walked over to him and sat opposite. "Mr. Sinclair, I thought we had reached a consensus that we would not interfere with each other."

Kenneth sneered, "I've never said anything like that."

Angela nodded and said calmly, "I left this week to find you some medicinal materials that can heal your legs."

"What is your relationship with the man outside? What medicinal materials do you need him to find with you?"

"He is Avery, the miracle doctor who gave me the medicine to heal your legs three years ago, so I asked him to come with me to find the medicine this time."

Kenneth still had some doubts. "Really?"

"Of course. If you don't believe me, just call Dr. Harrison in and ask."

On the way there, Angela had sent messages to Joseph and asked him to pretend to be her. Otherwise, Kenneth would find holes easily if they lied to him with other explanations.

Kenneth looked at her coldly. "What if you are colluding to deceive me?"

Angela frowned, "He will treat your legs in the next month. The facts will tell everything then."

Kenneth was silent for a while and said with a cold face, "Okay, I believe you for now, but if you dare to lie to me..."

Seeing the threat in his eyes, Angela smiled, "What's the point of lying to you? I just want to help you heal your legs so that we can divorce as soon as possible."

Kenneth's eyes suddenly turned ice-cold. "Do you really want a divorce?"

"Don't you want to, Mr. Sinclair?"

Kenneth didn't speak, exuding a gloomy presence.

Angela said indifferently, "If there isn't anything for me, then I will go out. We have to rush back to Lithoria today."

"I've asked Kevin to refund your tickets. We'll go back together tomorrow."
