Jan was taking long steps to get out of the campus. The girls he was passing looked terrified of his angry face. Ian was lost in his thoughts as his fists were balled tightly. He did not realize when he bumped into a boy.
The boy immediately apologized to him.
Pushing the boy away with his hand, he moved forward.
Ian felt completely alone in the crowd. He could feel his breath becoming heavier. He was heartbroken. He had never felt this much pain in his heart before.
Was he not enough? Why did Ava do that to him? Was she seeking vengeance against him for rejecting her the first time? But didn’t he apologize enough? To spare her any suffering, lie even healed her wolf. Then why did she do that?
If he had not personally witnessed her cheating on him, he would never have come to believe it.
From the shirt she was wearing, he had detected the scent of another boy. Without a doubt, it was Robin’s scent.
The mere thought of what they had done in the room made his body shirk. Having fallen in love with a girl like her made him want to punch himself.
‘How stupid I was! How could I forget there was nothing called love?‘ he thought.
When he reached his car, he got in. He gripped the steering wheel tightly and started his car.
With a high speed, he turned his car to the pack house.
His mind was a complete mess.
“I am fucked up. How could I turn into a fool?”
He tightened his grip as he remembered all the days he had spent with Ava. She pretended to be innocent in front of him, making him unaware of the game she was playing with him.
He shut his eyes when he heard a ringtone. He shook his head and glanced at his phone.
His father was calling him.
He did not want to receive his calls. He only wanted to be alone.
First, he wanted to kill Robin, who had dared to mess with him by sleeping with Ava. Though Ian had broken the relationship with Ava, he did not want to let go of Robin.
As his father kept calling him, Ian grabbed his phone and received the call.
“Where the hell are you?”
His father’s irate voice echoed throughout the car via his phone/
Ian’s eyes turned red as he wanted to growl. He was not in the mood to hear any nonsense. He was already in a situation where he had lost his heart.
“What do you want?” Ian asked, letting out a very cold tone.
His father paused for a moment, as if he were taken aback by his voice.
“Ian, do you really want to miss this important meeting just to see a girl? Really? I bet that girl will never reach your level. After all, you have no idea what power you possess. They are all interested in your status, not you.”
Ian’s eyes froze for a moment before turning his car back in the direction he had come from.
“You are right. Everyone is after my status. These girls are only interested in being my Luna. All of them are cheap and filthy,”

he said, gritting his teeth.
“Ian, there are still some girls who can stand next to you. Give us a chance to find the perfect girl for you. I am sure you will also like it. And it is not just about you; it is also about the future of our pack. You can’t waste your time on some girl like that.” Listening to his father, for the first time, he felt he was right.
“Dad.”
His father appeared to be stunned by his low tone. He was silent as well as Ian.
Ian took a deep breath and said,
“You and Mom can choose any girl you think is right for me. I won’t stop you two this time.”
His father was surprised. “That’s good news.”
Ian sped up his car and hung up.
Before he ended the call, he said,
“I am coming back to the pack to attend the head meeting.”
Ava remained on the floor for a long time, heartbroken. She cried a lot, thinking about how all of that had happened.
She wanted to go after Ian and tried to the last to tell him the truth. 1
But she failed when she heard the bitterness in his voice and saw the hatred in his eyes.
She was shocked that Robin had done this dirty to her, but she was more upset that Ian did not believe her.
Wasn’t loving someone meant trusting the person?
