What the fuck was that!”
The boy groaned in pain. He was lying on the floor and had lost his strength to get up. The way lan had kicked his chest, he was sure that he felt a broken bone inside his chest.
“Ian Dawson, you can’t beat our men like this. We are not from your pack who will obey you like dogs,” another boy spoke out as he tried to approach Ian.
Ian turned to the boy and punched him in the face.
“Dogs? Did you dare to call my pack members dogs?”
Ian’s growling caused the others to be stunned. Ava stared at Ian. She realized that he was a very aggressive guy.
She had witnessed his aggression before when he was fighting with Luke. A few minutes ago, he almost killed a man by hitting his head against a wall, and now he was beating some men.
Her eyes shifted to his friends, who were watching the fight calmly.
Ava frowned at them. ‘Why are they not stopping him?‘
Her mouth set in a hard line as she looked at them.
When Ian approached Stephen, the boy behind Stephen moved forward and punched Ian’s stomach.
Ava gasped when she saw it. Her heart began to race as if she could not see Ian in pain.
One of the boys spoke out with an aggressive tone,
“Stop messing with us. Thunder Howl Pack won’t allow others to come after us. We never stopped you from coming into our pack. Then why did your friend stop us from doing our business here?”
Ronald, who was leaning against a wall, stood up straight after hearing the boy.
He walked toward Ian and said,
“Ian, let’s do this calmly. But before that…”
Ronald paused for a moment and turned to the boy who had just spoken.
“Before that, let me give him back the blow.”
After saying that, Ronald punched the boy in the cheek, breaking his cheekbone.
The boy could not take it as he tried to hit Ronald back. But lan punched him in the stomach, causing the boy to bleed from the mouth.
“A punch should be powerful enough to make you bleed. Yours was a punch of a kid,” Ian said, standing tall as if he did not get hurt a moment ago.
All the other boys attempted to attack them, but they all fought each other.
Ava dashed over to Stephen to untie the rope that was wrapped around his hands.
However, when she touched it, she hissed in pain.
“I–It-”
“It’s damp with silver water. Don’t touch it, Ava,” Stephen warned his sister.

Ava shook her head. “No. 1 must be painful. Let me help you.”
“No, Ava!”
Instead of listening to Stephen’s words, Ava kept trying to help him. She felt pain in her hands, feeling like they were burning.
But she showed her bravery and untied the rope.
The moment she untied it, Stephen turned to her and asked
“Are you okay? Why are you here?”
ス
“I am here for you, Steph. What happened to you? Who are these people? And why did they tie you up?”
She was so perplexed about everything that she threw a bunch of questions toward him.
Stephen took her hand but failed to notice her burned hands. She bit her bottom lips in pain, but she did not let out a painful moan.
Stephen hid her behind a pillar and said,
“They will try to attack you. So stay behind it, okay?”
Ava nodded her head as she glanced at the others fighting each other.
Breaking into a rage, Stephen stormed over to the boys.
Ava’s gaze trailed over Ian, who was looking fiercer. She somehow started to feel fear in her heart by seeing him in this look.
He looked very dangerous.
“Did your Alpha tell you all to come here to do these things?” Ian asked.
Stephen shouted while kicking a boy. “Ian, they wanted to supply those things to our varsity. We should teach them a lesson.”
Ava was unaware of what they were talking about. She could only think that those boys were selling something among the students.
When Ian made a boy fall to the floor, he grabbed his hair and asked,
“How many boys did you sell them to? I will break your bones with that count.”
When the boy refused to tell him, he got up and kicked the boy’s legs.
Ava covered her ears as she began to feel like crying. She did not like to see violence. She was a kind–hearted girl who led a quiet life. 1
The sounds of breaking bones made her heart tremble.
She let out a scream when she felt a hand grab her wrist tightly and pull her out from behind the pillar.
Ian, Stephen, and their other friends turned to look at Ava.
