Aescul never thought Maximilian could be so powerful. He wouldn't believe it if he hadn't seen this by himself.
He looked murderous because so many people were watching him, and Maximilian had embarrassed him greatly.
The middle-aged woman was surprised, too. She thought Maximilian could never beat Aescul, but Maximilian had totally changed his impression on her.
The middle-aged man was also surprised and couldn't help feeling a bit confused. He wondered since when his daughter's subordinates became so powerful.
Maximilian said coldly, "You've lost the fight. Now get out of here."
Aescul's face looked pale upon hearing those words. He reckoned with Maximilian just now. "The loser will get out of there". Apparently, he was the loser now.
Jude looked at Aescul with a meaningful smile. She would be glad if he was willing to leave.
Aescul started to be cheeky, which was exactly what he was good at. He hummed, "I didn't lose. Who said that?"
Maximilian wasn't surprised. He had seen this coming. If Aescul was willing to leave now, he wouldn't have stayed for so long from the very beginning.
Maximilian mocked, "You said the loser will go out. Why are you denying it?"
"Just admit you've lost the fight! Why are you denying it? I hate dishonest people." Jude took an angry look at him. She didn't want to see Aescul anymore. She hoped the guy could get out of her sight as soon as possible.
Aescul looked so embarrassed. If this were before, he would've changed his mind already, but if he did that, he would not only lose his face, but also gave Maximilian the opportunity to get close to Jude.
If he left now, Jude would definitely look down upon him.
Just by then, the middle-aged woman stood up and began to help Aescul out. She said, "Nobody gets to let him leave. He's our guest, and we never drive any of our guests away."
Aescul was delighted when he heard this. He forgot the middle-aged woman liked him. He felt so lucky that he had already pleased his future mother-in-law in advance.
Jude didn't know how to stop her mother. The woman tried to keep every man Jude hated around and drive away everyone she liked.
Maximilian's mouth twitched slightly. The woman was double-standard. He was the guest of this family, too, but she had driven him away.
But she was treating Aescul so politely. That made sense to Maximilian because he knew Aescul had a significant family background. Moreover, the guy had brought gifts here.
Aescul was overjoyed because he knew he could start. He looked at Maximilian proudly and snorted, "However powerful you are, you can never be my match."
Maximilian ignored those words and looked at the man. Aescul was an idiot, and this might be his last chance to get so proud.
Dinner had already been served by then. They sat at the table. Maximilian wasn't talking to each other, but they had "communicated" a lot through eye contacts.
Aescul picked up a drumstick for Jude and said with a smile, "Come on, have a taste."
Jude disliked Aescul. She would never accept anything from Aescul, no matter it was his gift of a drumstick. She put the drumstick in Maximilian's bowl.
