Although Zachary did resemble Jack, they clearly weren't the same person.
Earlier, Natasha had touched Zachary. She could tell he didn't have abs.
She wasn't exactly an expert on abs, though, so she wasn't sure if they would still be defined after a full meal, or when the body had relaxed—especially when she traced her fingers over them.
"Ms. Bradley, do you mean what you said?" he asked carefully.
Zachary had learned his lesson the last time. He wasn't about to speak recklessly again.
"Of course I am. I always mean what I say," she replied, raising an eyebrow at him. She still couldn't quite figure out what he was trying to imply.
"In that case, collaborate with me. I want you to lead the project," he said.
Zachary opened the car door again. Natasha tilted her head, confused.
"Get in. Let's go somewhere quiet so we can talk properly."
Natasha didn't have many options, so she followed him into the car.
About ten minutes later, they pulled up in front of a research facility. She had seen this place before but never knew what it was used for.
"This research facility already has an experienced team. It's being prepped for the research project Mr. Anderson plans to carry out," Zachary explained.
With that brief introduction, Natasha got a general idea of the place.
She had to admit that it really did live up to the Foster Group's name. The facilities inside were top-notch, and the dorms were only a short walk from the research facility.
"The project does seem promising. But I don't think I'm qualified for the role," she replied honestly.
