BOOK8 Chapter5

Amelia’s bodyguards, observing the scene, praised her effusively: Amelia was born to be Mrs. Jackson. She handles these situations perfectly.”

Absolutely. Look at herthis woman was so defiant at first, and now she’s in tears. She’ll think twice before trying to seduce anyone again.”

Congratulations to Amelia for dealing with this lowlife. No one will dare challenge your position as Mrs. Jackson now!”

But Michael’s face, which had softened, hardened again

Amelia’s smile faltered as she asked: MichaelDid I say something wrong?”

Michael glanced toward my room’s window with a subtle smirk

He then drew Amelia closer and said: No, I just think you deserve a better place. This one is too shabby. If you’re going to live somewhere, it should be the Jackson Family Estate.”
