Eight Years Lost A Love Unclaimed (Ariella) novel Chapter 87

BOOK8 Chapter10

Seeing that Michael had spared her, Amelia’s fear shifted to relief: “Michael, I knew you still loved me. You can’t really kill me.”

Michael’s expression grew stern: “No, I want you to suffer. I want Olivia to witness your punishment.”

Amelia’s smile froze. She shook her head urgently: “No, you can’t do this. I’ve been missing for days. My father will be searching for me. He’s always been protective. If you kill me, there will be serious consequences.”

Switching tactics, Amelia invoked her father’s authority.

Michael dismissed her concerns with a snort: “Do you think I’m afraid of that?”

He raised the dagger, aiming at Amelia.

Just then, Amelia’s father and a group of police officers burst in.

“Drop the knife! Don’t move!”

The officers aimed their guns at Michael, their faces serious.

“Dad, you’re finally here!” Amelia’s face lit up with relief, and tears of joy streamed down. She looked at Michael with a mix of defiance and satisfaction.

“Let my daughter go. I know the Jackson family is powerful, but if you harm her, you’ll regret it.”

“Put the knife down!” Amelia’s father’s voice was menacing.

Michael, undeterred, continued his advance, thrusting the dagger toward Amelia.

The blade pierced her flesh, accompanied by gunfire.

Blood poured from Amella’s chest as Michael was hit in the shoulder.

Despite the injury, Michael remained resolute.

Under Amelia’s horrified gaze, he withdrew the knife and struck again–and again.
